What are the chances of someone doing a Texas Mac figure. The version in Shin Getter was pretty cool. there IS a Texas Mack figure made by Max Factory but he is vinyl,one of my grails still,as he is appropriate height with SOC..more and review here.. toyboxdx.com/brog/?p=408  |

Never liked the original Texas Mack, for me it looked really weird and creepy, completely out of place for been a good guy TBH. I prefer the other Texas Mack from the SGRvsNGR, however the thing that i criticizes about that one is that it looks to much like shin getters proportion aspect and i wish it was more unique. However i guess its a homage to the original since its design was also been base on getter 1 so i guess it make sense. i liked he had a horse though.  |

Astro boy always gives me a creepy feeling,a super almost naked baby hero?,cant relate,am I missing something? Anyways the robot above looks great.
The texas mack holding that rifle is BOSS! They need a character of him,how many times did he appear in the series? I havent watched the entire Getter series.

Nah, Astroboy has weird powers... like the machine gun effect(or was it a lazer?) coming from his butt... and his eyes light up in the dark(like car head lights), so he can see better ... LOL... Astro dresses up when he is not on a mission or during R and R time ... |

I am kinda surprised Bandai has not done Astoboy in SHFiguarts. I do not think they would do Super Robot Chogokin.
I love the Texas Mack from later series. Hate the original. I would buy him AND his horse even if they were both TWE!

I haven't watched the entire Getter series. the reason to that is because at the time people though that robots would be pretty much naked so simpler design was the best course as well there was no point in giving them cloths since well there just robots, also it follows more to the original astro stories because whenever he would have some cloths they would simply get burn or get destroy in battle (this is quite noted on the 1980 series and as well the 2003 and the 2009 movie). and since astro would most of the time be in battle the best choice to repair him or making maintenance is having him in a simple design Nah, Astroboy has weird powers... like the machine gun effect(or was it a lazer?) coming from his butt... and his eyes light up in the dark(like car head lights), so he can see better ... Machine guns, here is the list of weapons and capabilities of astro, however his powers differ slightly from series to series. -The ability to translate more than 60 languages (excluding 2003, film and video game). -Strength equivalent to 100,000 horsepower (75 MW). -The ability to fly using jets in his legs and arms. -Amplification of his hearing up to one thousand times. -Guns deployed from his posterior (excluding 2003 series). -Invulnerability to most forms of physical injury. -An electro-heart that can discern people's criminal intentions (excluding 2003, 1980 and film). -Bright eye-lamps to assist his vision (references to additional x-ray ability in the film and 60's series). -Laser guns in his finger tips (excluding film). -Laser cannons in his arms (2003 series and film only). -An extremely accurate electronic brain. Anyways the robot above looks great. That's why the need to do Chogokin of Bruton/Pluto. Watch the videos for the storyline of Pluto/Bruton vs. Astro Boy (I remember years ago seeing HQ english dub of the episodes, can't seem to find them on YT anymore  ) Part 1 Part 2 |

80's Astroboy is awesome... Plus the opening and closing songs are very catchy... It does not matter if its in English OR Japanese... Works either way... Yah, SOC/SRC treatment should be given to Astroboy... |
