Nice work, goldorak, that replacement piece you built looks spot on. It'll look perfect once painted, still CM's sohould have provided you a replacement or even a proper QC inspection, this is just UNACCEPTABLE. Well done with the FB page Lejam, I don't think CM's will go as far as publicly acknowledging their mistakes with this release but it might get them to provide customer support, spare parts would be the least. This is the proper way to deal with a company that ignores its customers' screams in the 21st century, say it loud and clear guys!

Here is the presentation text for the page :
Created by collectors and fans, this page is a tribute and gives respect for the great Grendizer (or Goldorak), created by Gō Nagai but also a list of complaint to CM's Corporation about Brave Gokin #40 Grendizer manufacturing (disastrous).
This figure was supposed to be collectors grade (USD 300$) and was badly produced with a lot of Quality Control issues.
The purpose of this is not to give bad image of CM's corporation, but ONLY to give them interest to do something to any collectors and buyer of this figure who encounter trouble once they open the box.
For all owners of the Brave Gokin #40 Grendizer, send me photos of your figurine showing the problems encountered with a full description. Clearly indicate in the title of your message: "problems with my Grendizer". I will post pictures in albums dedicated to each problem.
You can also send me your best pictures of your "toy into action" for the "tribute" album.
So do not hesitate to send to this page messenger all your pictures and issues.
EDIT : please forward to other forums like CDX.

@ Goldorak: AWESOME job repairing that part on your Grendizer's head. You have a very keen eye for detail, too! zozo-mag

You are right. I will add some lines about "our respect and devotion to the past Gokin figures". Once done, someone can't have a good and correct translation in Japanese ? (I will find my way for that too) Thank you very much.

I contacted AmiAmi about the issue. Here's the reply I got this morning.
"Hi,
Thank you for mailing us.
We have updated your email to *********
We're sorry to hear about item TOY-RBT-3322. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for shopping at AmiAmi.
Sincerely, AmiAmi"
Yeah they didn't even ask for photos so I'm guessing they're already getting an earful...

Wait... is that really all they said? No offer for a partial refund or to send it back for a replacement? Just a general "Sucks to be you"? Or did I miss that part?

Amiami's customer service efforts suck for buyers outside Japan. They even include a note on their boxes basically saying that if you are not a buyer in Japan and have problems with your purchase, it sucks to be you. Anime-Export is usually the most aggressive in getting the customers replacement parts for missing, broken, or defective items. HLJ is a close second. }D

not this time for Anime Export if you read my story, very disappointed by Erika Sato who answered me it was okay for the replacement, even said she shipped it to me, and never replied when I asked for the tracking number she promised me...

Erika Sato can be a b*tch sometimes, but she uses that same attitude towards the companies to get our replacement parts when needed. However, she is not in charge of the shipping department, and that's where most of the problems begin. She has sent me several replacement parts over the years, and when something doesn't work as it should, she always tells me that she will check with the shipping department. Then all of a sudden, I get my stuff. Just ask her again nicely. She may be out of the office on vacation, or moved to a different position in the company. }D

But Thank you for the sympathy bro. I wasn't expecting much. I want the retailer to be aware of the situation. If I'm not reading too much into it, I get the impression they heard this before. To which I say...GOOD!!

Let's moderate a bit : keep cool with retailers, they try to do their best, they do not forget that they are living and working because of customers and fidelity, so I am sure they are trying to do their best to maintain this and have a truly good reputation.
And sometimes, collectors are also "b*tching" (no offense) or loosing patience...
Off------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So here is my text about the goal of the page (thanks to Chogokinabdul to give good inspiration...)
We are collectors and followers (supporters) of CM's products, specially with the Brave Gokin line we truly love and pre-order each time it happens. We don't understand such an act from a company for who we admire their products such as : JEEG , Gordian, Ingram, Boss Palder, etc... so we expect them to take care about collectors.
The goal of this page is clearly not to make fun of CM's Corp or soiling their name and reputation, but to try to find a solution for this production disaster !
Seems legit and respectful. Hope we can have a japanese + Italian translation. Do not google trad : too much errors. We need a real translation. I will add french lines too.
On your marks...

Just my 2 cent about that FB page message, it seems to be a "by collectors for collectors" message, oriented to ask CM's nicely if they would be willing to help, maybe. So far they've seemed to be answering their customers with a cold shoulder (have they ever done otherwise in their previous fiascos? remember those patlabor "broken" figures or others?) so I'm convinced that they need to be shaken a bit to realize what's at stake for them. They won't react unless they really feel the fire under their asses imo and we need to light that match, if they think they'll start losing money and reputation because of this they'll just realize why they actually needed a QC team in the first place and why they need a proper customer spare parts service right now.
