Due to its size and the Dollar vs Yen flunctuations, BBTS offers the better value. It is just a trade off that we have to wait for it to become available in later June. I for one do not mind waiting because this is an official release and distributed in the US by a reliable company. Thanks man i feel much better about waiting now..

Yeah, like I posted previously, I hardly ever get stuff EMS. It defeats the purpose of buying overseas if the item will end up being more expensive than getting it from Betatoys, BBTS, or Toyfreakz. My exception is if the item is expensive, like a large SOC or a CM's Brave figure, or if the value of the actual package contents is high. Then I have no choice but to go EMS as well. I don't really mind waiting, as it gives me the opportunity to read about the item from other peoples reviews and opinions... and if they break or damage their figures by doing something wrong, I just learn from their mistakes instead of breaking or damaging mine. But I just wanted the Scrander Set here quickly this time... and the shipping difference between regular Air Mail and EMS was less than $16 bucks, so I just spent the extra cash. ;D }D

I like BBTS, but I have to admit that Betatoys and Toyfreaks have better prices and better shipping - sometimes even FREE. }D

Just collected mine today, some pics to share The brown box was larger than expected inner box 1st tray. I was expecting stickers to be used for the cut-outs, but instead, everything were molded in place, and is highly detailed, a big plus. 2nd tray Even the little hover craft have its own miniature pilot, sweet! I have decided to leave mine on the stand for display. Everything fits in nicely with the right amount of force required, well done on Bandai's part. worth every penny imho.

thanks guys i only managed to set up the jet scrander for display today and yet to try the hand attachments with the blades (not sure of the exact name) and have no intention of setting them up for display, perhaps someone can share some information when you have done so.

1st tray. I was expecting stickers to be used for the cut-outs, but instead, everything were molded in place, and is highly detailed, a big plus. Are you saying that the inner details of the wing (the internal mechanics) are molded and painted?

Mecha-mecha, YOU are Da MAN! Great pics, love the clarity and sharp detail in them! So, it seems the mechanical detail inside those Scrander wings do look molded in and painted as part of the sculpt. No way in hell would Bandai manufacture something like THAT hi-grade specimen just to apply mere stickers! That's the real Ginzu right there! Now my question about that Scrander is: WHY is the hull red on that Scrander, while in other toy-lines (the SOC Maz, and the MC Maz model kit) the hull is yellow? zozo-mag
