Thanks bros! I'll check on swapping the wings the other way around later tonight and let you know. Yes, that is a GX-45 custom next to the DX. }D How'd you get the chest different? you steal from a SOC GX-01 mold? also, something seems to be missing...Southern Cross Knives? or were they just THAT insignificant that they're not even worth mentioning anymore? Hmmm... what do you mean? }D

1st tray. I was expecting stickers to be used for the cut-outs, but instead, everything were molded in place, and is highly detailed, a big plus. Are you saying that the inner details of the wing (the internal mechanics) are molded and painted? Yup!

TMZ can the wings be swapped so the seam line from the cutout is facing the back? I am pretty sure this can be done, when i assembled mine, i accidentally did it the other way round and it fit in real good ;D

Im guessing the wings will be angled forward if switched, like the SOCs.My 1st set will be here tomorrow. BTW The chest TMZ is using is the 2 part armor chest,in the original anime its like that,so he chose to use the two halves instead of the full one piece, all are included with the Mazinger.BTW great pics TMZ!!!.

It CAN be done... ;D Also, the wings (the Jet Scrander engines) rotate a few degrees back. Not 90 degress, but about 30. }D

Thanks Baron! The wings actually fit the same way any way you put them, unlike the GX-45's and SCR's Scrander, they are straigh with zero angles - which is great! Yeah, I rather use the two half chest pieces myself... to me it looks more Toei anime accurate that way. }D

Rightfully so. If the wings had been made of die-cast, their weight would bear down on the DX Maz and wear out the surface of his waist area while attached to him. I like how that panel-line looks on the faces of those wings... them lines give the wings a nice "edge". That looks really beautiful... I swear the DX Maz with his Scrander are the finest works of art Bandai has ever made in this hobby, all hands Down! zozo-mag Zero diecast content... other than the screws. }D :/

I think he was under the impression that the DX Scrander wings might have included a set of Southern Cross Knives. Well, if they're not included, I'm sure SOMEONEhere will make a custom set of the Southern Cross Knives for that DX Scrander, AINT THAT RIGHT, TMZ! ;D Hint: cut "star" shapes (four-pointed "ninja stars") from the plastic lids of the Pringles potato-chip cans. Cut the stars small so they're in scale compared to the wings.... ...And then paint the stars metallic silver. That's what I plan to do with my DX Maz set after I score it. zozo-mag How'd you get the chest different? you steal from a SOC GX-01 mold? also, something seems to be missing...Southern Cross Knives? or were they just THAT insignificant that they're not even worth mentioning anymore? Wow, he does look better with the panel lines placed on the other side! As for the engine rotations, that's to permit some articulation for the arms on that DX Maz when you pose him while wearing his wings. And if you pose him "flying", that engine rotation will slightly move the wings angled away from Maz's body, to simulate "aerodynamic flight". If the wings can also be positioned to angle downwards (swept back towards his feet) then you'll have the "mach speed" flight pose all set right there! zozo-mag It CAN be done... ;D Also, the wings (the Jet Scrander engines) rotate a few degrees back. Not 90 degress, but about 30. }D
