I also display mine fully armoured. I like the half armour and half internals too but may use it some other time. The base is too big to fit in my glass display case so I kept it stored until I can get a glass shelf big enough for the base. The base takes up a lot of real estate...

Gotta keep the hangar covered when not in use... ...I noticed it attracts dust particles like hell. Maye if I sat my roommate in front of it, the negative charge would repel the dust off. So I wipe it down with a soft cloth or a feather duster every day, and I keep the batteries out until I feel like using them again. zozo-mag

Gotta work it, magengar ... I thought of just leaving the base and Maz exposed but thought the MAZ DX is one of my most expensive toy purchases... Gotta make space for it in a enclosed space... If I remember correctly, Baron said - Dust is the enemy

Yep, Dust is the enemy. Dust isn't just a particle, but it also carries dirt with it and it can leave micro-scratches on a brand new diecast surface if left that way too long. Enclosed is the way to go. zozo-mag

If anyone is still looking for this guy, it just appeared again on HLJ for ¥33 350. Shipping might be a killer though.

Question for everyone. How are you displaying your DX Maz? I am displaying mine currently on the scrander stand with half the internals exposed Like this. Wish i could display him with the scrander or hangar but i have no space

Even if you have no space for the base, the DX Maz always looks just as good displayed inside those glass displays along with the other figures... and even so, he still bears a striking presence among the other figures! I'll have to rearrange storage space for his boxes, without folding them down. lol zozo-mag

Just got mine today, the scrander showed up this morning and Maz just an hour ago. Pretty cool I gotta say. Now I gotta figure out how I'm gonna display him CONGRAAAAAAAATS!!! Man, you're gonna LOVE that set!!!! Now, remember, watch out for that red cable part inside the elbow and follow the instruction illustrations in the booklet to see how the forearm must be aligned to the bicep for attachment.... three stubs inside the forearm area must align with the three notches in the base of the bicep, then push the red cable in and hold it pushed in as you attach the forearm- push until you hear a loud click and the forearm will lock attached in place.... It's very tricky, but with routine practice you'll get used to it. After the forearm is attached, you can pose the arms by rotating the bicep. The forearms can bend for posing, but Do Not rotate them in the elbows or else they'll fall off. Unfortunately, that's how the figure was designed, built that way in order to show off the armor features. Any other questions about the DX Maz/Scrander sets, ask and we'll help you with it. zozo-mag

Shipping to the US is about $160. That's insane! Well, the box is the size of a night stand, and weighrs over 20 pounds! }D You're soOo NOT kidding about the box! I thought my back was gonna snap the first time I lifted it while trying to remove the inside box out. The shipping fee for it, at any price, alone aint no joke either. Now imagine if the Hangar hadn't been factory assembled just to save box space, then we would've been up the creek trying to put everything together. This is one of those collectable specimens of which the box MUST be saved. It's the safest way to transport or ship the DX stuff to your next apartment or storage facility. Store the empty box in the basement? NO WAY! Basements are prone to water damage from busted frozen pipes during the winter season; and high humidity during the summer season. Keep it inside your closet in the bedroom on a high shelf off the floor so pets don't piss on it and cats can't litter-box inside it. lol Seriously. zozo-mag

Yep the arms I had heard about and fortunately I had done my research but they still are frustrating. He's pretty awesome and heavy reminds me a bit of my t28 but poseable

My guess is the arms were hinged at the elbows that way to show off the Drill Missile fighting position. But, then of course, there's no Shooting gimmicks anywhere on this DX Maz figure. I'm gonna cut pieces of Ten-speed bicycle inner tubes to make "sleeves" or covers to place in that wide-open gap area in the elbows while he's posed with his arms bent. The black inner tube rubber should blend in with the dark socket areas. That way the elbows won't appear like they're "missing something". lol zozo-mag

$160 was cheapest shipping? That's nuts.
I do want this, particularly now that I have the fewture getter g team. I think he will look great with them.
Still have my scrander sitting in a closet lol. So kicking myself for passing on this from amazon for $300 way back when.
