Wish Bandai hadn't used the Shin Mazinger version, but yeah, it's still cool. }D

like? "Like" ?! This aint Facebook. We don't "Like" stuff around here. We either LOVE it or hate it. i LOVE my DX Maz set! I have the Hangar set and the Scrander set! Make sure you get both. Man, why on Earth did you wait so long! Lucky you still managed to find one that was available, as they were limited supply. Congrats! zozo-mag

SchwEEt! I'm amazed the Jet Scrander set still sells at that price. For those who are still having trouble getting the DX Maz set, they can still grab the Scrander set while waiting for the chance to get the DX Maz. Oh, BTW, those who've just bought their DX Maz: pay special attention to the way them elbows connect to the biceps... ...the instructions are in Japanese, but the illustration pretty much visually explains how to line up the three notches and push the red cable inwards until you hear a click. Just go easy on it and you'll be fine. And, to pose the forearm in some rotated position-- you must rotate the bicep or else the forearm will fall out of the connection. I wish Bandai had done a better job with the elbows. Overall, the DX kicks butt! zozo-mag

The reason why I didn't go rush out and get the Jet Scrander is because I am not that big on accessories--I have very limited space on my two glass Ikeas shelves. But man, am I now so happy to have it!!!

Fabulous! A DX Maz without its Jet Scrander wouldn't look so cool. lol
hey, Mazfan, be careful..... that's a bad location for a plastic collectable item, right there by that radiator. Them radiators can put out a lot of heat when they're cranked up all the way.

magengar.... Thanks for the warning. My DX sits on top of my shelves. I just place it down there for the photo.
Know what though.... the Jet Scrander should have come with the DX. That thing cost $500!!!

That thing cost $500!!! I wish, hehe... But to be honest, this Mazinger is not fit for dynamic poses. He's more on the static side. A Scrander would look better on a flying Mazinger, or an attacking Mazinger. The DX has presence, but overall I think I'll just leave mine in the hangar, "idle" so no scrander for me.

Mechanical Flesh.... I totally agree. The DX Mazinger is quite fragile--things pop off so easily. Hard to pose.
Yeah goldorak, a DX Grendizer would be cool.

Oh yeah! specially the face, elbows, and chest magnets. It is not an SOC action Figure, that's for sure. This reminds me that I need to finish the mods on mine. Already took care of the chest pieces falling off easily, and figured out a better way for the LED eyes to remain on. Just need to give it a better paintjob (get rid of that silver) and come up with a better method to secure the face plate in place. }D

TheMazingerZ.... I am so impressed with board members' ability to custom make robots. I have hard enough time posing them in interesting ways

That's all I want, to keep the eyes lit. And then when it's on normal dormant display I'll just remove the batteries or disconnect a wire. But I certainly want to keep the eyes lit with the Pilder on, for photos. And then perhaps I can figure out a way to do the same, without frankensteining the DX Maz to a point that I'd end up damaging any of the electronics inside it.

You know, there was a rumor a while back that Bandai might attempt a second release but without the hangar to lessen the price. But seeing as how this thing took a while to really sellout I guess that might not be happening anymore?
