Yup good news, I won't try to hard for Soundwave but I will be on the lookout for Acidstorm. I just HOPE these are widely available!
One more thing but lurking at all these Transformers forums I can't believe the nitpicking, arrogance, sense of superiority, and plain stupidity and rudeness of some Transfans. It's incredible....

Haha I hear you Chen. Though keep in mind many posters on the TF boards news section are kids. I mean some even single digit kids. The third party section is another story, most posters appear to be adults with sizable disposable income.

I wonder how much Soundwave will go for in US. Let's just hope it won't be another fiasco like it was with OP.

For Soundwave, I'm going to hope for $80, so around $100 with tax and shipping within mainland.
I haven't notice other things too much, but Trans fans are definitly very VERY forgiving as far as price companies charge....Come on, two mini cassette sized for $50?!?? $20 for Deluxe sized all plastic toy?!?! It's not like they have any metal either...screws don't count Takara..
Fans are VERY understanding with minimal die cast count too..... I guess companies want for the engineering cost, but I bet they don't pay their designers all THAT much relative to the company profit...so

I think you get two types and Transfans, those that are used to buying Takara versions and 3rd party stuff and those who only buy their Transformers at the local Wal-Mart. $125 for the former looks like steal for a figure like that 2' Metroplex or a MP Optimus but to the latter it better be the best Transformer made since it will cost more then any domestic Transformer before it, if they only know the prices we pay for some Gokins their heads would explode lol. Also the nitpicking about details, G1 accuracy, figures being to big or to small, swearing etc get's old. Anyways it seems like it's a good time to be a Transformer fan with all these figures coming out.

Well I love my Hasbro MP-10 so I don't think the Hasbro MP-13 won't be good. I have heard the Hasbro MP-11 Thundercracker is good too though I still need to get it.

I'm thinking these won't be out till the summer or even till next Christmas. They won't be releasing Metroplex till August so its gonna be awhile. They still have release the Takara tapes and then give the usual 6 months or so till they release a domestic version.

I am glad to see that Hasbro is releasing the MP Soundwave. In many regards, I just can't ever justify the higher price Takara versions no matter how much nicer of a paint apps it has. Most time these paint apps has QC problems anyway. It's the same mold/product. At 50$ plus for the tapes multiply that by two, the Takara versions of Soundwave and his minions will end up costing over 250$ if you are lucky enough to purchase them online from retailers like amiami or hlj, which by the way seem to sell these out as soon as listing are up for them. Like with ver2 MP Optimus, I was only willing to pay around $100 and I am glad to have gotten one at that price. I don't value officially licensed Transformers in the same way as gokins or the third party stuff. Even with The masterpiece line, I still feel these are toys made for boys instead of higher end collectible made only collectors.
Hasbro distribution method of making pretty much all MP product TRU exclusive also sucks. They really should look into an online exclusive, kind of like what Martytoys did with their Voltron, but of course it needs to be better run than martytoys. For me, it would be more of a collectible, and if you slap a one per household limitation on this, it would also stop all of them scalping.

Well, you can order direct from TRU if you want. That was what I did. I would have loved to find MP10 locally but the cost ended up being the same.

The SW masterpiece box will be a closed-box design. Not a clear angled box like current Hasbro MPs. It will also feature new MP logo with Japanese writing alongside the Transformers name similar to GDO figures. Pricing is decided but not revealed. Im going to say his pricing will be 119.99. -$124.99 if TRU exclusive . If we are lucky 99.99. Anything less would surprise me.

i wouldnt be surprise if Hasbro throws in the extras.....i mean MP10 is one proof they could throw in extra accessories with a lower cost....now if only Takara could do the same with their Masterpiece line.......lowering their cost.....
