The rear legs transformation for Fansproject UUUU is truly ingenious.

I am waiting for TFSource to get both in stock... Under Fansprojectcore, renammed FPC, a "virus" version (black colored) of Function X-01 is now available. (Colors scheme was designed by Encline) Pricing is $89.99 USD for non-members and $79.99 USD for FPC members. But international shipping (Basic flate rate) is OUCH expensive : 49 USD ! ! ! My wallet : "I just hope it's an isolated case and they won't release this entire line in black..."

That price point is a HUUUUGE rip off for what you get.

The virus version is better looking but I don't care for that sculpt at all. There is a good chance I will pick up the weird wolf though. That one is sharp.

The FP Headmaster bots are really nicely designed and have a great, high quality feel to them. Nothing feels flimsy and everything is clever and solidly designed. I'm really looking forward to Smart Robin - hopefully the "October delivery" that BBTS is quoting pulls through on it.
I'll pass on Virus - Black repaints don't really do much for me, and I have to admit I kind of like the 70's funky brown and cream colors that the regular Code figure is rocking.

Code is my favorite fansproject product, even more so than Steelcore (which I have sold). The design, the fit and finish, and the transformation really has me impressed. It's actually fun to transform and I find myself fiddling with it more often than I would with my other figures. I wasn't going to collect this line but after getting Code it's hard not to!

I'm REALLY excited to see what clever stuff they do with mindwipe (the bat) - The designer already showed a lot of creativity with UUUU (and what would ordinarily be a very simplistic animal "stand up and straighten limbs" design) and I expect much of the same in the future.

Postman was very generous this morning : I received X-3 Smart Robin, X-2 Quadruple-U and X-1 Code / Virus version (limited black). They are beautiful. X1 was simple, but black edition give him a better look. X2 and 3 are very impressive in robot mode. I only Transform X3 in jet mode : transformation is crazy. A lot of split in the middle with a Z unfold to get the large cockpit nose. Everything is compact and stay tight. Legs stick with arms and wings unfold from the legs and turn feet in canon. Very clever. For all Headmasters fans, this FP line is coming to excellence. Plastic choosen gives a lot of details with sharp edges. This is turning these figure more as collectors pieces than toys. We are far from there Causality Insecticons Ninja (which are already good figures). About colors, they are all well balanced. Pleasure for the eyes. I want to focus only on Masterpiece Line but FP makes me changed my mind each time they are coming with new figures.

Here are more shots. These FP Headmasters are so far their best releases (transformations + designs & style + quality). As I said before, it creates an interesting line with Perfect Effect Headmasters (Warden and Scorponok).

I'm really happy to see FP continuing this line. I love their emphasis on solid transformations and G1 Homage appearance (and this is from someone who isn't much of a G1 fan, to be perfectly honest). Headmasters have really been getting so much love of late, it's very heartening.
