So, I have a question: I know that a difference between Hasbro's TF Cybertron figures and Takara's is the paint job. But I usually hear that Takara's figures are better. Why? What makes the Takara figures better; better in which way (quality, more options, extras, else)? They say it's better because they paid more for it ;D They all come from the same Chinese factory, right?

The paint job makes a big difference. The little details that Takara adds on makes a figure pop and look higher end. Most Hasbro figures look pretty cheap.

True! True! If I knew that Takara's Cybertron line was a lot better than Hasbro's, I'd have gone with it...but too late for me now. So, here is my final repaint customization for both Prime & Saber. I did my best to make 'em look as accurate as to the anime figures. I feel happy lookin' at this now. Perhaps, in the future I'd think about repainting the chestplate into gold! Not sure yet.

Guys, I need to know if someone can tell me where to download images for the instruction sheets of Cybertron Defense Red Alert, Jetfire and Ransak please!
Photocopy, scan, mobile cam shots... anything would help! Thank you.

Do you need the actual sheets? Or just a guide on how to transform the figures? If it's the latter, there are a few videos up on Youtube I think. Gold

Beautiful pics. I have so many of these things in storage...
I have to pull everything out and display. My favorite is definitely Cybertron. Armada was cool as a return. And Energon just seemed lacking. In 2005, I was running a toy shop and had a ton of these guys on the shelf. I loved these things so much, that until 2011, I had about 50 Primes and Megatrons in storage in the basement. Been filtering them through Ebay ever since. I hope I helped bring some of these guys to anyone that missed it when they came out.
Thanks for the memories.

The 2nd HOTSHOT was the BLUE TANK (Left Front in Pic). I forget when they released it, but it was later in the series. My kids still have that one.
I liked the look, but he was a very basic transform. He had a TON of missiles and bombs that became visible. From a story standpoint, he was ready for war and could do some crazy battle. But as far as pose and transform, I was very disappointed with the bulkiness.
