First version GaoGaiGar hold the title. I also got a second SRC Reideen that was floppy as hell... Interesting enough, the first one I got was fine. }D Ah yeah, I have heard about the GGG issues. They were definitely real as they made a new version. My GGG only got floppy when I tried to pose him the first few times with the first 2 Key to Victory sets. Damn that was tough. He really needs the stand that comes with the second set to do it well. That was frustrating. He never had troubles until I tried to put those on. I just figured it was too much mass

It's LOWER legs are way heavy... might be the heaviest legs on any SRC. }D

I think they learned a lot for the groin/hip joints moving forward on figures.

Glad you like your Shin Getter. I was not worried about floppiness. I am not aware that there really has been a SRC that was floppy. Does anyone know one that was? 1) Reideen 2) solar aquarion My Reideen and Solar Aquarion were decent, my God Reideen on the other hand was a freaking, flopping mess. Gold

Got mine this morning. Joints are crazy, specially the waist/torso. Too bad they didn't plan it in SOC line instead...

First off : I love this SRC and the amount of articulation on this SRC is absolutely insane! Even if I'm very happy with it I can still see a couple shortcomings that keep it from being perfect : - Arm proportions are a bit awkward : Getter1 can basically grab his kneecaps and stand straight up. The arms feel a bit too long. I've seen a lot of pics using the wrong elbow joint too which make it look really bad since the "internal" elbow joint (not the ratchet ball) should only be used as a secondary joint to bend the arm further up toward the shoulder. The extra length of the arms can be reduced by just bending them a couple clicks so that the hand is around half the thigh and it more more "right" proportion-wise. - The head can't tilt side to side?! Seriously?! Bandai has crammed more articulation gimmicks into this thing than any other I have ever had and yet it can't do this basic move...
I'd still highly recommend this SRC, it a really fun, solid toy and its paint/scuplt/details look fantastic

Yeah. I got mine yesterday too.
Pros He's DEF the heaviest SRC I own. Ton of metal. His chest, lower legs and his hip, ankle and shoulder joints are all hefty metal. He has rachety joints on shoulders, knees and elbows....wow I love it.
Cons I agree that he does suffer from usual bit of "monkey arms syndrom." He also does have usual SRC "pencil neck syndrom." But it's Only noticible from directly front view though so it's not too bad. Also as small as his head is you still can seriously notice his two beautiful "doe eyes"...and that's not a good thing on a super killing machine like this...
Even with relatively small cons, this is an awesome release. Ninja might have gotten a lemon unfortunately, as with few other bros here I don't have floppy issue on mine. Again, when I see a crazy price drop at Amazon on this SRC I'll PM you Ninja. So you can get another one and use the current one as "a back up part bot" or what not...if you want.

This guy was well worth the wait! Articulation is insane, is it mine or are the joints a little loose in the torso? Either way very happy with it

^^^ Wow that's a nice pic. The joints on mine are perfect but the torso joint from my brother's shin getter 1 is a little loose.
I don't know which I like more aoshimas getter or this one. Both are exceptional in my opinion.
Btw I love that Super Dimensional Fortress 1.

Thanks! Yea when I extend that torso joint its a little bit loose. I'll see if I can get some future in there to tighten it up.
Thats the kit version of the 1/3000 Yamato toy. I put it together and detailed it, looks much better than the assembled version which looks a little plain.

Hopefully u can manage some torso fix. The torso joint felt a little loose but not to the point it couldn't hold a pose but I have acces to two shin getter at the moment and yes one of them have tighter torso joint and the other not so.
The details on sdf1 is beautiful. My old takatoku I bought in the late 80s - early nineties looks bland compared to yours.

Mine holds the pose fine but the slightest amount of pressure will move it. Im not completely finished with it there are some glow in the dark stickers i want to apply to it but i just moved and need to set up my hobby work area before i do any more work to it.
