I think it's the lack of any media outside of the Manga. Plus so much crazy stuff coming out right now. I agree with you here Gold. New product with new design which needed a way to sponsorize itself. And they start off with a manga? I guess there are some exceptions, but ever since Mazinger Z hit the screen back then, the best way to promote a robot toy is an animated show, or a movie. Mazinkaiser SKL got one, so time will tell if Dino-Getter Robo will have one too. A manga is just not enough Have to agree with you on this, i bought quite a number of toys base on hype created by the animes i watched.

The biggest turn off for the red version is the ivory. Still think white fits the whole thing better.

For me it was his goofy lipstick smile, and ton of kibbles in Dino mode....

Guys , I don't know what to say ! I understand your point but Keep acting like that and you will lose the adventerious company in todays gokin scene ! if we kept net picking like this I am afraid more and more companies will go CMs road !!
this release is great !! it is transformable and well articulated and well executed !! we collectors have to support the new companies!!
I mean this is going for 130 $ while a simple toy like gattiger will go for 200 $ ? and a more simple plastic toy with balls and magnets going for 180 $ !! with those prices the dino getter is a great catch !!

I agree with chogokinabdul. Sentinel puts out quality stuff.
Easily the best new company in a decade or more.

I already have quite a few releases from Sentinel. This release just doesn't do it for me. May get my hands on the black version though if thats possible (without going through scalpers)

I love my Giant Gorg best,I own the 2 Getters and the 1st Dino Getter,I like Sentinels stuff. They are some of the best looking figures in my collection actually, and those friends who see my collection gravitate to the sentinels. They are far from my favorite personally, but thats because of the characters, not the toys, but they are very nice figures,

I dunno.
The regular red+cream colors just does not appeal to me.
The Black version is much more attractive.
Honestly, I think Sentinel should've made the Black versions as the regular and the red+cream versions as limited editions.

And the "child-molester" grin on the red version is truly disturbing. }D

I'm sort of lukewarm on Sentinel products - they have great sculpts, but the lack of heft on many of them makes them underwhelming to handle. The Dino Getter 1 has good weight to it though and comes recommended, though it'll probably get even cheaper if you wait a bit.

YES that is the one disturbing thing about all the Sentinel Getters they feel hollow, which they are haha, but yes they are very light. The Dino is a bit heavier it just looks good, the face is odd I made a photo change and turned that smile upside down it looked way better, like Getter Dragon's.How it should look.

I got Dino Getter 2 yesterday and what a let down compared to Dino Getter 1. Just a floppy mess of parts. It looks good, but it's a poor, poor toy. Display only.

In dino mode, not a single part locks in anywhere. Head, neck, shoulder plates, tail, etc, they all just sit there waiting for be shifted out of place the second you try to pose the figure. Robot mode is ok though.
