All plastic at that price will def shut me out... I hope either they'll add some metal at that price or put them in T-Rex line. Come on, they're dinos. They should be in T-Rex. haha Look how massive these guys are going to be though! For the size and Sentinels engineering they will be well worth the price. But if you want to miss out some some potentially awesome figures because they lack zinc be my guest.

Here's a pic of one of them standing on your standard Riobot stand so you could use that to judge it's size by comparing it to other figures using the same stand.

Looking at the feet and comparing it to the Riobot GL, I think these Getters will be about 20cm (7~8"). Pretty nice size, I love it because the robots stand tall, but don't get extremely space consuming (except, in this case, for the wings).

170 dollars and all plastic?
It'd better be like 2' tall or something!

170 dollars and all plastic? It'd better be like 2' tall or something! Yup with all these newer companies like Sentinel and Evolution toys, get use to paying 150-250 for all plastic and just magnets with ET anyhow,I for one can justify it IF the sculpts are outrageously done well, for instance the ET sculpts,WHY cant we have the best of both worlds and have Bandai hire guys from ET and then we would have perfect robots.Bandai misses the mark alot on representation of the Super robots.CMs is the closest to pulling it off,but they use about 60/40 plastic to diecast usually.

Wow, that dino Getter looks damn Wicked! I don't know what the fascination with Bat wings is all about with Go Nagai and Dynamic, as they've rendered re-made versions of the super-robots lately sporting "Bat" wings of sorts. I presume the Bat wing idea is Go Nagai's play on the issue of "Demon God", as in Machine Demon God, since it started with Mazinger-Z and now it's passed onto the Getters. Nonetheless, those wings suit that dino Getter really nice. zozo-mag

New prototype pictures. And wait do I spot some diecast in the feet, lower legs, crotch and midsection?

Definitely looks like it. It's cool to see Sen-ti-nel experimenting not only with transformation but more with Diecast in their figures as well . the Getter's got some mean looking meat cleavers - they look like they might transform as well, too!

These look good but their not Getters in my book. They overlook the basic concept of the Getters but still they do look good.

New prototype pictures. And wait do I spot some diecast in the feet, lower legs, crotch and midsection? Best news all day for me. Thanks. I'm in. Sentinel's fast becoming one of my top three company. Watch out CMs! Hey Admin bros, can we move Sentinel-T Rex to Chogokin section then?

The T-Rex line is already in the Chogokin section. These are still under the Riobot line which technically are all or mostly plastic but it seems that could be changing.

Actually right now Sentinel hasn't listed this under any line so it could end up in the T-REX line although I don't think T-REX had a hand in designing these. Once we get better confirmation of what line they are in, and if they stay in the Riobot line I'll move it and put a title of "Riobot-D ****" with the "D" standing for diecast since thes seem to go back and forth with their releases.

Now these looks like a must have for me... I passed on Arstorm series because of prices... But these are giving an original and interesting design choice of Getters design. Getter1 pterodactyl alt mode is a bit bulky and compact (maybe due to shot angle)... Look more like a space ship than a mechanical animal (hello Swoop !). I am excited to see more from these and yes, bring us the preorder asap... Getter 2 got so far a real cool alt mode : A GAD DAM T REX (hello Grimlock !) !!! The mixed design skeleton/flesh is clever and give this original design choice. rhaaaaaaaaaa....

The mint green accent color they chose is a bit odd,a more lime green would be better.Im really on the fence on buying these, they fall in sort of a Fewture catagory,so in teh end probably pass.they are super cool looking though.
