How much exactly? If this came out when I go to asia at the end of the year, I would get it. It looks awesome. I don't care if it doesn't transform.

No idea about price but it is a Artstorm product and 17" tall with lights and a remote control so it won't be cheap. I'd be surprised if it's under $600.

WOWWW!!! I can only say that this is, for lack of a better phrase "Just Prime". If you notice it also carries the 30 years for Transformers markings behind it on the display. Since there are going to be 30 figures for the 30 year celebration, this could and surprisingly be number "30". I know i'm just shooting into empty space with this, but who knows? This had to be licensed by Hasbro/Takara for this to take place anyway. Just something to think about.

Not something I would buy. Why have a transformer that doesn't transform? It's just a statue at that point! It's better than mp-01 I think, so why not upgrade as the vehicle mode of mp-01 is kind of lame.

Meh. I never transform my Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I never really transform any of my transforming articulated statues. I am into the robot forms solely

Nice, looks very much like the masterpiece and pricing could be insane.

Yeah I've transformed my MP-10 maybe twice and stuff like the Maketoys Devastator I've kept in combined form ever since it came outta the box. I appreciate the engineering involved in high-end Transformers I just don't feel the need to constantly transform them like when I was a kid.

It burns me up to see people complaining about the Sentinel Scorponok not transforming. He's 23 in tall has articulation and can stand head to head with fort max that's all we need! Your not going to have something this massive transformed on your self anyway its not practical! Sorry had to vent a little there.. Back to this guy while he's awesome he's too big for my MP collection. If he'd been the size of MP 10 he'd taken his place.

We also need a 17" Megatron too. It says it has a voice chip so will it be Peter Cullen or the Japanese voice actor for Prime Tessho Genda? Or if there will be a English version hmmmmm.....
