Man I want one of these so bad... probably one of the best things Sentinel ever produced. The main thing holding me back is the price. Over 35K yen a piece. I tell ya, months of saving will be needed. Because I want both figures, both Zenon's Guardian (Gorg) and Manon's Guardian. Just imagine, these 2 colossi at the opposite sides of your shelf I'll just be patient I guess. Hey arkboy, how was the packaging? Did it come in a nice stirofoam tray? Was it well protected?

Wow. That's excellent protection there... wrapped in plastic sheet and held firm by 2 solid stiro-bars, and both robot and accesories are placed in a glorious™ white tray. Yes let me say that again: one of the best things Sentinel ever produced. Thanks for the photo Arkboy

Apparently it's being reissued in March 2015. A nice chance for those who didn't get one the first time around...

Huge and expensive, hehe. It's really nice, at 30 cm you get a great level of detail on the toy, plus all the amazing articulation. But man that price... I would've settled for a 20-ish cm version of it. Doesn't need to be "giant".

yeah me too.. just not practical for its size... especially if youre one of those guys who displays chogokins side by side. its a nightmare for space. a mech named Giant Gorg doesnt mean u make it a "real giant" hehe.. he was supposed to be perhaps around mazinger-sized if u will check anime scale. if u got lots of detolf space to spare for him to go solo.. just by himsself on spotlight.. then good for u.

If I'm ever going to buy this, I'll need to have its brother too, the Manon-type guardian. Not only it'd be a lot of money for the guys, but they'd also take up a lot of space, yeah. More than needed, if you ask me.
The guardians, in the Giant Gorg anime, are not very tall. They look smaller than Mazinger... Mazinger Z was 18 metres tall, so around 10 times the height of an average human adult. I'd say, Gorg is around... 15 metres? A bit smaller than Maz.

Gorg looks huge. Does it actually fit in a detolf?

I have it them displayed top shelf but they should fit fine. They're damned big at 13" but I think detolfs are 16".

This is very nice piece that I had my eye on but very hard to come by. Love the colors, finish and that Tron like outline. Anybody wants to get rid of theirs let me know. : )

Oh you better stop! Haha! Just like Gold's, and Chachipower's old reviews, these by KumaStyle, with the amazing pics are going to generate another wave of sales floor trampling, LOL. If you didn't think you needed a toy, now you do. BTW, the beige/sandy fabric or wall paper, whatever you used for the backdrop, is perfect perfect for showing off the vivid blue of this toy. Nicely done!
