Bandai already milked the Unicorn to death on their GFF Metal Composite line They sure did, but the mold/design of that GFF Unicorn is now eight years old, and next to a modern Metal Build is insanely dated. I'd actually love a non-transformable Unicorn in each mode (like the HGUC) where they can give it a ton of detail and articulation without sacrificing anything for transformability. A boy can dream... As for future Metal Builds, they could get a TON of mileage out of a Metal Build Barbatos. I would hope that it'd be an all-in-one Barbatos with its various forms and then a Lupus/Lupus Rex combo pack as well, then you have all of the remaining Gundam Frames and their variants as well. I thought they would have milked barbatos before... It was very popular and it have so many variants... I dont know if its still popular. The show was so good, 1st season was perfect but the last 10 episodes killed that show. Still I would get barbatos MB

Still I would get barbatos MB If Bandai is truly honest with their plan of milking main char's suits, they should choose suicidal character as main. Ideally someone like Athrun Zala, every suit explodes for some random reasons (except the IJ...). Too bad Athrun isnt main char. The progression of Bandai's thinking is proof of that: Kira ends Seed Destiny with no scratch on his SF. Then we have Setsuna who starts to trash his suits left and right. Then finally Mikazuki is the one who doesnt even give a f. This guy destroys everything, from enemy suits to his own suits, even his own body. At this rate, the next char after Mikazuki will likely change suits once every 5 episodes, for some "heroic" reason.

So, is it worth collecting the GFF Unicorn/Banshee/Norn anymore? I have considered this purchase for a while already. For me, your post sounds like an indirect "no".

I have unicorn, banshee norn and phenex and I think they look awesome (I'd show you but I don't know how to add pictures). The problem is that transformation get in the way of articulation (knees mainly). Otherwise transformation is a bit tricky but no part swapping. My biggest complain with those three is they don't come with a decent stand. Metal is minimum I think and it's in the frame but I still find them to be great display pieces.

I have all the 7 Unicorns and acquired them recently. They do all like good together as well. You have think that most of GFFMC have real transforming mode not just bunch of weapons and jet packs. So you will have some lack of articulation in comparison to metal build. Too much articulation and real transformation asking for loose joints or scratched up paint.
Now is good time to buy them they are cheap price compared when they first came out and were in demand. I got few them below the intitial retail release price.

Hey guys. I need your advice. I ordered my metal build quanta from an eBay seller name Denden Hobby for $310. And today my heart is broken, as it arrived with its right shoulder already broken. (Punk move on bandai for taking the cheap rout and making the shoulder joint plastic. Especially for a freakishly expensive model figure). Should I go through the hassle of getting a refund or should I keep it and try to super glue the joint?

Thanks for the input. Yeah it sucks verrry bad. That's why I'm so tempted to keep it because it's so beautiful!! But okay I just emaild them my refund request with pictures. What's weird is that the shoulder that has been breaking for everyone is that same right shoulder. Maybe a bad batch?

Yeah, the state of union is going to be a fun watch.
Due to the shoulder joint defect ( which Bandai will NEVER admit), we Yanks really need to buy this guy from EE and other US based stores. Protect yourselves!
