My proxy got my X2, too... I just realized this will be my 14th chogokin in 3 months... time to take it down a notch. isn't that less than 5 a month, so only around 1 per week. . .

I remember those were onsale long ago., I didn't get it because my Saber and fate/stay night figures were figmas. I ended up with a figma Gilamesh. I need to really just stay on collection chogokin/mecha stuff, instead of spreading to 1/12 action figures because somehow their cost adds up really quick due to all their releases left and right.

Only one a week? Guess I better step it up then... Yeah, I remember when Bandai first advertised Saber, I wasn't really in to Fate. Then I saw UBW and started playing FGO, now I'm another crazy Fate fan, so when I remembered these Chogokin I decided I would like them for my collection. Don't know if I'd ever have time to set it up, but I'd like to do a diorama that made it look like all the mechs were coming out of Gil's Gate of Babylon. Looking forward to seeing the X2 and Eva 02 reviews this weekend/ next week.

It's really harsh looking back at the old thread for those figures that they were so cheap after they came out and now they're pretty expensive.

Wondering why this line hasn't started doing build fighters and Divers since there are retools of existing pieces like the Build strike.

Wondering why this line hasn't started doing build fighters and Divers since there are retools of existing pieces like the Build strike. Because build fighters are not Gundam Joke aside, I think build fighters target younger audience (8-14?) and the metal build's target audience is salary people (25-40?). The build fighter series metal build might not sell well since we (middle aged) people (excuse my assumption) don't have attachment to them.

They haven't done MB of many things... in fact they've only done UC, CE y AD. Leaving outside every other time line... so it would be nice if they start from there. I'd love to see even the main gundam from each anime (God gundam, double X gundam, turn A gundam, something from Age or even the G self) But if you want to fill the void, MC is doing Dark Matter Exia from gundam build fighters. I'm pretty sure it will end up being a very good figure.

On top of metal builds and fix figs, I also collect (and build) Gunpla, and I draw the line at Build Fighters (and Age).

Actually they are Gundams but the battles are vitual and given physical representation as kits in the show. Fact is Gundam in general has been targeting younger audiences since its inception. Metal Builds weren't even a thing until the 2000s and until now those same Mobile Suits that we're collecting now in diecast were represented in kit and lower end plastic toys that are currently being dismissed as for kids but had and have a very large adult collectit demographic as well. In fact, I don't know any adult Gundam fans and collectors that haven't watched at least one of the Build series.

Hi everyone, here’s my humble review for the metal build crossbone x-2.
Personally I think it’s an awesome figure with beautiful aesthetics. Definitely worth picking up.

Gonna have to watch this when I get a minute. Your reviews are always great! I've referred to a lot of them to help with purchasing decisions lately.

I really want MBs from the IBO series, the MB designer already did barbatos lupus rex for metal robot, I hope that doesnt reduce its chances for a metal build

I really want MBs from the IBO series, the MB designer already did barbatos lupus rex for metal robot, I hope that doesnt reduce its chances for a metal build I think the Metal Robots line is always going to get a bigger selection in the end because of the smaller production cost vs net profit just like the 1/144 model stuff vs. the 1/100 but like the models I don't think there's ever a correlation character wise of "well we did it for this so no need to do it for that." Two completely different bases they're marketing to. A Barbatos NOT coming to the MB line would be absolute insanity; I just hope it's sooner vs. later.
