Anyone found the new red astray in any American site? The Japanese PO was a while ago... Bluefin has no plans to bring it to the US at this time. My thinking is it's because all those Strike attachments will be TWE. What's the point of selling the new Astray Kai in the US when the attachments cannot be purchased locally? If this is the case, all the Strike Gundams sold in the US will be stuck with the Aile flight unit only. If the Blue Frame 2nd has that function, then it might never get released in the US as well.

The answer I got from a retailer when they asked about it. Dang well if that's the actual case I hope it comes around closer to release because it's not a P. Bandai exclusive or anything and just money left on the table.

I can't really say all of that because as much as I'm a big entitled fan of a fan I have to say there isn't a line to where they haven't done it right by the fans this year... hell even with the snow White preorders re opening them and all of that. Bluefin however... yea... they just are what they are.

But the astray red kai come with tactical arms already equipped, that's a pretty stupid reason to avoid distribution... I regret missing it the first time.

Now it seems they're bringing the Snow White to the US unless they're just teasing a reissue of the original Wing Zero release. I just wish they'd be clear on what will be released or not here in the US. Jumping through all those hoops to get the Snow White...

Yeah its such a wait and see game. I jumped last year at a MB SF Soul Blue when I was in Tokyo, but then Blue Fin brought it over for much cheaper, albeit a year later. I wonder if they will do the same for 00 designer blue.
They must be bringing Snow White over.... I'd be very surprised if they didn't. Regardless I PO one from Japan just to be safe.
It would be nice to not have to play the guessing game.

It would be nice to not have to play the guessing game. Exactly. I don't compete with early morning MB POs if they're not a TWE. So I let the Astray Kai Alternative version pass. Although, I thought it wouldn't be bad to get one when they announce it domestically. Weeks passed and I haven't seen any come up for PO. So I decided to ask a retailer and got that reply.

Bluefin is owned by Bandai but still has their own team and hierarchy that makes their own decisions that's why not much in how they operate has changed at all post buyout. Re: Zero release - it's likely the Snow White which is rad and tbf proxy ordering really wasn't anything difficult. I'm most interested to see what affect it will have on the OG release because I think it will spike even higher with folks wanting it to go with the prelude.

I'm most interested to see what affect it will have on the OG release because I think it will spike even higher with folks wanting it to go with the prelude. I'm not after what the value will be for the OG or any of these. If anything, the W0 and Snow White are 2 different MS. It's not like the Strike Freedom or OO Raiser where the new releases are just repaints. I'm more for having access to these at retail rather than a markup. With these TWE, it has become a guessing game if it will stay as an exclusive in one region or not. The best practice I see is when Bandai JP announces these exclusives, there should be a follow up announcement from other regions if it will be made available. This announcement should preferably happen before POs in Japan open so that way we won't be scrambling to contact proxies. It may seem not as bad but I think others may disagree especially for the ones that thought they got an order in and only to find out it was cancelled by the proxy. Then, they're left scrambling to find another way to source it.

Moving on. ------ Anyways, it's a good time right now if thes finally a real synergy between Bandai main and Bluefin with this TWE stuff. I just hope that it's regular distribution and not having to order directly through Bluefin.

Quick protip for using proxies to save anyone else pain:
Dejapan lumps everything as one solid order and has NO method to separate orders (which seems wild).
So don't be an idiot like me and group together Metal Builds with different release dates. My Crossbone X2 is in purgatory until April when my Caletfwlches get released.

Have you contacted customer service? They've been really helpful when I ask them questions or have had problems.

You can't elect to have what's in your warehouse shipped separately?

You can't elect to have what's in your warehouse shipped separately? I dont think that's true. My warehouse on dejapan has option to separate parcel. I bought a auction item and have two PO with them and the auction item sent right away after winning it. Proxy always give me an impression they don't like to keep item in their warehouse for too long and usually 30 days.
