From the Tamashi: Thanks for the photo. Looks a lot shorter than Daitarn. Bandai, I am willing to pay more for a taller G7. Why?! They should be 'brothers'.

Not familiar with the character but will get Can someone shed some light on the blocky thing (spaceship?) in the photos? It looks too big to be the character transformed.

Well isn't Zambot 3 shorter than Daitarn 3, too? Judging from that picture, Trider will be about the same height as Zambot.
I do dread to think how expensive this guy is gonna be. Grendizer was pretty pricey for a SoC and he was a lot smaller. If Trider is 9" tall, that vehicle attachment thing must be huge.
Actually, now that I think about it, Grendizer was expensive and he came with THREE vehicles...actually I suspect this might be about the same price as Grendy. Probably more, but certainly nowhere close to Max Gokin prices.

Daitarn is ALWAYS shown as bigger then Tryder and Zambot. From manga to video games Daitarn is always the biggest of the three. Unlike when Nagai robots get together their all basically the same size. Its due to the fact that Daitarn is piloted by Banjo who's a adult while Tryder and Zambot are piloted by kids. That aspect carries over to the robots depiction.

From the Tamashi: Hmm not bad, at least we now know it's not Mazinger sized. Seems like Daimos sized maybe? Gold

Luckily, they are super robots. They don't do real scale toys. Otherwise, G7 would be like a SRC size!

Tony, I believe those are supposed to be included with new SOC figures now (the next wave being released) but I am not sure if they will sell them separately.

Somehow I kinda doubt that.
For one thing, why are they being posed with so many old Chogokins if that's the case? Not to mention they're massive, so they would only be worthwhile on the bigger bots.

I think the stands are kind of stupid really, they arent related to any of the animes so why bother ? BTW the ship that comes with Tryder is not him transformed..you combine the ship with teh robot for a larger spaceship, think Grendy and Spazer, only more elaborate. So have to get 2 of Tryder if you want to show both displayed correctly.

The first thing I thought when I saw this revealed was how stoked you would be Baron. I think he looks awesome!
I love that his base is under a playground if my memory is correct.

I really feel after this the next SOC will be Daikengo,if not next,in the next 3,,its inevitable now,its the last REAL combiner not done yet,and my favorite SR.Tryder G-7 is really right along with SOC.Bandai has continued shown SOC line is for classic SRs,and I just love the idea. For all the speculation on Soc line being finished? Here is mud in your eye!

Don't forget Dai Apolon. It also a combiner that deserves a modern toy.
