Don't let the perspective fool you. I drew a line that measured the person's hand, then used that line to measure Gaogaigar's height. he's about 2 hands tall (slightly less, but still close to), which unless my hands are really big, this is gearing up to be like...Ideon/Iron Gear sized...which if I recall correctly were VERY big compared to other SOCs...

It's already listed at 260mm or about 1cm shorter then Daltanius. Something like God Sigma was listed at 300mm or almost 2" taller and God Sigma is shorter then Ideon and Iron gear.

from the in hand review that the guy did, he stated that GaoGaiGar is 30cm tall, its pretty much equivalent to 11.8 inches (or 12 inches if you want to round it up)

Anime Island has opened there preorder for GX-68, at $243.89 (FedEx Ground shipping will add $15 or so). Even Amiami will have a hard time beating that price after shipping added. Looks like they will be getting their stock from Blue Fin (with a Jan 31st 2015 release date), so its more for the patient folks. But I did bought from them once, and have a couple other preorders. They package very nicely. www.anime-island.com/products/gao-gai-gar-king-of-braves-gx-68-soul-of-chogokin-action-figure.htmlNow thats more like the price I was expecting to pay!

juz saw the GX-68 at STGCC, pretty big, 20 odd centimeters, pretty chunky looking. dwaf the doraemon combiner that is next to it. suppose the box is going to be pretty big, which translate to hefty shipping quotes.

Since we're only a few months away from getting our robot-craving hands on GX-68, I decided to rewatch the whole GaoGaiGar 49-episode series as a tribute Now, I won't feel bad anymore if the upcoming GaiGar won't be able to mount Drill-Gao on its forearms and Stealth-Gao on its back. Because really, I just watched a scene I forgot about, in episode 13, were Galeon is already fighting the zonder-of-the-week, and Guy has to take all 3 Gao-Machines to the place, to perform final fusion. And he practically, uhm, attached Liner-Gao under Stealth-Gao, in order to transport the former. If GX-68 went for absolute anime accuracy, it would need more pegs and attachment points than Trider's legs only for Stealth-Gao, you'd need it to be able to attach to GaiGar's back (flying mode), GaiGar's arms (for final fusion) and Liner-Gao (for the aforementioned scene). And that's just Stealth-Gao. All in all, I'm fine with the approach Bandai took: Gao-Machines which can only be used for final fusion. Over-complicating things might be counterproductive.

As if I wasn't that hyped already... thanks for the pics Lejam This is looking good. They really tried their best to make it as anime accurate as possible, good job Bandai now let's just hope they didn't screw up with the articulation system or metal content.
