Wow. It is so beautiful. I do not even know that I care that there is no hammer. Would not have posed with it anyways probably. Have we seen the dividing driver before? I swear this is the first time.

More pictures of GaoGaiGar: It shows the deicast parts on GaiGar and the Gao Machine, i'm a little worried about how will GaiGar handle the stress in his Final Fusion mode? I have notice the price tag on the GX-68 GaoGaiGar in the magazine is 32400Yen while at the Japan C3 the price tag on it is 30000 Yen More Pic on: Toysdaily toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=227357&extra=page%3D1&page=1

Now, if this product will deliver a great success in the market and i'm sure it will, and Bandai has licenses for the rest of the Brave Series From Exkaizer to Dagwon Add Baan Gaan if they have it's licenses which i hope so I will say GO For It Bandai!

looks like it is going to be soul of plastic!! where is the metal? joints only? With all that joints and parts for the combination you'd be grateful for the plastic parts. Also since this is a big soc the weight would surely be detrimental to this figure. I'm sure the metal contents are placed where it matters to prevent weight imbalance and paint chipping.

I think so too. Being a 26 cm figure, even with just the joints and some other part made out of metal, the thing would weight around a kilo or so. Notbad if you ask me. I'll trust Bandai and hope that GGG will be a well balanced figure

looks like it is going to be soul of plastic!! where is the metal? joints only? Yeah, looks like the metal content isn't going to be that high, despite the looney price tag. Dang.. So far, going by the pics, the most I can tell that have diecast are - the Knee, Elbow, shoulder, ankle joints on Gaigar -Inner thigh sections of Gaigar -GGG's feet. -GGG's Elbows? Gold

Really disappointing with the diecast content. Both versions of CMS galion had more diecast than this and I believe the drill gao's on ver 2 also had diecast (can someone with him confirm or deny that).

We have no definitive info regarding the amount of diecast on this figure yet, I'd say let's wait until someone tell us exactly what we are dealing with. Besides, I'd not like too much metal content either. Heavy limbs are the cause of flimsy articulation, even with good ratchet joints sometimes. Just look at Ideon and its arms that poor guy won't stay posed decently even if you say "please", all because of its 1.3 kilos of weight. GGG will stand at almost the same height, and I'd rather have it weight less than a kilo, but with a good, solid articulation system, rather than a brick which can't keep its arms lifted

In order for any SOC to be considered Chogokin , it needs to have atleast 50 % diecast. or else whats the point in calling itself Soul of chogokin? Paints chips be damned! If anything less then 50, it should have went to metal build series.
However, i rather it has less diecast then it not able to stand or be a brick. ;-). I learned this the expensive way with CMs Jeeg sets..... His chest should def have been plastic like the option part set, and not metal like normal release...

The SOC Reideen is just a floppy mess.
But I agree. None of the newer (and some not so new) SOCs are 50% diecast. Not even close.

Also, "Chogokin" is term that comes from Go Nagai's Mazinger. It means "Super Alloy". The term for diecast is "Gokin". Bandai's Soul of Chogokin figures don't necessarilly have to be full of Gokin.
