Waited for Amazon preorders to show up, but I think I'll stick with my BBTS preorder, since they are the same price. And the BBTS Pile of Loot pretty much canceled out the Amazon tax. One thing bothers me about Amazon is their shipping package, which got me some messed up boxes before (either they don't use shipping box for collector edition games/blu-rays, or not use much stuff inside a shipping box and let the item dangling around & rubbing the whole time). Since this Hello Kitty is a gift for my wife, I better not risk getting a jacked up box.

Speaking of BBTS, it's bit OT but I think it's important t bros who use "the Pile of Loot."
I got this email from BBTS few hours ago.. "This email is a notification that your Pile of Loot order #****** has exceeded our current 180-day hold period and must ship to you now."
So they apparently have 180 day holding period for in stock purchased item which I had no idea... They are shipping my $11 item at $8 UPS shipping. Not too thrilled as the $11 item was a filler or "add on" impulse purchase to go with my other much more expensive and much heavier main item..HT Iron Patriot Diecast.
Just a FYI for bros like me who didn't know this policy...

It's always been a six month (180 day) maximum for pile of loot, if I remember correctly. A lot of other places are like that as well. Just remember, the longer your stuff sits in a pile of loot type setup, it has a better shot of getting lost or damaged.

Makes sense. It's just a reminder for bros like me.
"3 months holding period for paid in stock items in "pile of loot" at BBTS."
Can't get more clear then that.

I know nothing at all about Hello Kitty, other than my niece and most other young girls love this cat. So this item has no real interest from me. But I have seen on Facebook a shot of it with half of it shown with internal mechanisms, split kind of like the Maz SOC DX. Now if this thing had that capability, that would be cool. But it does not appear so. Too bad. If someone can find that photo, they should post it. Its pretty neat.

I can understand the damage aspect but if they loose your loot in their warehouse it's our fault? That doesn't make sense.

No, if they lose your items, it's their fault and they either will refund you, give you credit, or try to get you another one of the lost item. I'm just saying that it's not good to leave things sitting for very long periods of time, especially if they are high demand or valuable items, or an item where only one is available.

Yah, It`s understandable that If it`s high demand and they lose it, you wont get billed but you wont get your toy either... Things get lost or misplaced all the time...

That happened to me at Anime-Export, with 'pile of loot' orders sitting there too long and end up an item got lost by the time I want to ship them. Took them more than a month to find me the item, but just glad that everything is resolved.

I held the prototype over the weekend and it is pretty much a brick. The entire head and body is metal. Even the legs felt metal. JoshB did an interview about all things Tamashii and also handled the prototype and spoke about it. Video should be up soon. Its been a long 4 days and transportation troubles so hopefully soon. I actually kind of like this and I'm not afraid to say it. Is the whole robot diecast?
