LOL, that has got to be the best accessories ever! XD XD XD
However, my maketoys yellow giant is probably not big enough to replicate that scene, does that mean I have to buy the combiner wars Devastator now?

Hmm. Even though I like it, it's not FT to stray too much from cartoon accuracy.

People in TFW2005 forums are having a roast over FT's supposed Grimlock design

Can't please everyone. Fun thing about the people over at the TfW board is that some are questioning the legitimacy of the blueprint and even went as far as saying that it's a hoax. There are people out there that just can't accept facts. Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with this FT blueprint. It's a bit different but what else are they to do? Would people be okay if they just up scale the original MP-08 and change a couple of the panels or something?

idiots are even saying it was by gigapower. i think GP's design would have his tail sticking out of his legs since their design is more of a G1 masterpiece.

I actually like FT's deviation from the cartoon's design - just make the head slightly bigger so that it's not the size of his fists. I hope (although very unlikely), that FT (or GP) would update the T-Rex mode to reflect the more modern depiction of the beast.

ALL MP's are stylized, I pretty much own every single one and NOT one of them look like they walked right out of the tv from the cartoon. It just depends on how far you stylize them from the different media and toy sources. Besides I like the huge shoulder look of Grimlock, makes him look like he is the most powerful Dinobot.

Yep, I am curious how they will managed the difference with actual MP Grimlock which is pretty good except some proportions in robot mode (thighs, etc...). Will FT add neck articulation like they did on Ft-07 stomp ? Big ball joints (x3) could give good gimmicks in alt mode and also the possibility to hide/turn 180 the head in robot bode to avoid thge traditional dino head backpack. Its like these shest/ribs pannels, they could give an extra joint to fold them a bit in robot mode to match or not the cartoon/G1 toys... Ok, these are "wings"...

This just a sketch. Alot could and probably will change from this concept to the actual released toy. FT seems like a company who listens to the fans for the most part and they have done outstanding jobs on the other dinobots to date. So I'm taking the "hurry up and wait" stance on this until we get an actual prototype.

I held off ordering the regular Guttur for this version (chrome). Seems to have a darker paint job or maybe just the lighting. I didn't really care much for the plastic flame effects parts and hopefully this version has the hip fixes and the various QC problem fixes. $200 so I want the nicer looking one. Also I hope that they didn't glued the heads and that the swap options is still available like on the preproduction stuff. I like the angry face with blue eyes.
