In regards to Kingdan, According to the article, he sold this non scale kit at the wonderfest.
He also mentions that joints are "injection" type? So to make it harder to just directly make unauthorized copies of his work?

Baron, Gold Wing robot as of 2010 they wanted $350 for the metalic which included the director's signiture... and $280 for the reg anime color version. It's a color resin action figure. I don't know but this guy always talk about passing on the baton at the end of his article..kinda discouraging. Here's pic of bunch of them in a store in the city of Chamsil or Jamsil in South Korea... blog.naver.com/kornkys/105697465 then click "sylphid team" then click page 7. I don't know how one can get this robot now, but 5Pro is working on this very charactor as die cast Master Piece in coming months if you're interested. But I expect it would be also be around $600..and in VERY limited release as in 100 to 250.

I've always like the Korean Super Robots. Yes you can see that some take obvious design clues from their Japanese counterparts but they have grown and become their own entities. Besides almost everything is a "rip-off" from something else.

I guess Sylphid goes to Wonderfest...
If ANY bros are going there this upcoming Febuary, please drop him a visit and give my regards. I would love to get my hands on his Egg Attack Mazinger Z. Looks like some of his works are in market as Egg Attack IronMan for around $100 lit eye statue. Maybe Kids Logic is helping distributing it? I wonder if he had hands in producing the SD Optimus Prim... That one's getting a rave review.
Thanks in advance.

"clues" Not clues! Those are 100% rip-off of the Japanese originals. To me that is total lack of originality. Even little kids can come up with their own designs, so why couldn't the Koreans Super Robot anime creators do the same. Obviously they can make incredibly awesome figures, so why just steal Go Nagai's ideas is beyond any comprehension and totally inexcusable in my book. }|

They are ripoffs for sure. And you are right,Its like parts swapping from different robots. But i cant help liking Goldwing design,Gakeen is like my favorite SR,and its him with a twist.Taekwon V is too similar to Mazinger for sure. But the odd thing is animes like Goldwing {just finished the 2 hour 1978 movie}are not cheaply made, they are actually very well done, which to me is very odd.One they did later is even nicer.
You would think since its a ripoff it would be worse, but the anime is right up there with the Japanese counterparts. And therefor they could easily have made all new robots.Even the villain looks like Vega from grendizer. Its so odd how they do that,to that extent.I cant help liking them though as they are like odd Bizarro world versions.

You know its crazy,I never drooled over a SR as much as this Goldking, its driving me crazy, and I like the metallic one as much if not more than the anime correct color, which is very unusual for me.I think Im going a bit crazy.LOL the axe,the pliot and cat, just wicked sculpts, take a look at that Site just unbelievable work.
