Surlyj, Sorry for your bad experience. That ebay seller is a real jerk.

I'd still argue that it's not shipping damage. The post office didn't destroy the outer box, right? They did not damage the item. The failure to pack and secure the item properly caused the item to incur damage and the shipping service can't be blamed for that. The sellers negligence caused you to receive an item that was not as described because it no longer matches the condition it was in when you purchased it based on the listing description and the pictures. The worst alternative is that the box was damaged in the first place. Although I kind of consider this unlikely, but it could be that the seller received theirs in a lousy condition to begin with and are now trying to dump it on someone and say it was somehow the buyer's fault. Either way you should definitely not accept a refund that is anything less than the shipping costs back to Taiwan.

Well, as expected ebay said ship it back at my own cost. Can't seem to get anyone on the phone either to dispute how ridiculous this is when it is totally the sellers fault. I said I am not returning it and to give me a partial refund. He'll probably give me the $10, then I will leave bad feedback. First negative feedback I will have ever left too. I've even had problems before but always was treated well by the seller. This guy sucks.

Amazon (where Amazon.com is the bluefin seller, not a third party) or BBTS for domestic next time, or get skilled at using Mandarake and being patient. Sorry it turned out that way, maybe someone who doesn't like to keep boxes will sell an outer box to you cheap or you will find one on eBay.

Can't believe I spent $180 to get screwed on ebay when I could have waited and gotten this for $133 from the US. Burn.
I'm hoping Daltanious comes back at a cheap price again.

Surprised to get my GX-65 delivered today instead of next week. Nice, right? Well, unfortunately, I have to return it for a replacement due to box-damage: The replacement is scheduled to be delivered before x'mas. Hope it does not have any damage. Somebody commented in the Trider-thread that the Trider and the Daitarn sale were prolly a box-damaged sale. Guess that was correct...

Yeah, that's what it seems like. Every figure that I purchased on sale from Amazon, had something wrong with the box. They were sealed, but in pretty rough shape. The only exception being the Sentinel Dino Getter 1. That one was in excellent shape; like if it had come from Amiami or HLJ.

Amazon has never packed their things all that well. Who knows if the box was damaged before they sent it or not, but that's really not that bad.. 90% of the SoC boxes I've ever laid eyes on have a ding like that... and you got it for a song.

I would only accept this kind of box-damage from amzn if I got the figure for $30-$40, like the Daltainous I got from them. I cannot and would not accept this kind of box-damage if I paid $130+ for it. Gotta take amzn/bluefin to task for this kind of stuff.
