Hahahaha that says it all..Look at the ...feet?? But then again I hate every Fewture toy.but they should resemble the character a little bit, from the neck down it could be any robot! One of the reasons I generally dislike this toy line... The toys have great sculpts and all, really detailed, but doing so transforms them into an anonymous mess. The look and feel of the classic super robots, most of them from the 70's and early 80's, stands in their simplicity. Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Raideen, Jeeg, and such, they all can be drawn with just a few lines here and there and no more than a handful of colours. They looked basic, simple, with almost no external detail. But that's what made them iconic. The EX-Gokin line tries to modernize those classic designs, adding more spikes where needed, more curved and aerodynamic lines and generally a lot more detail. The result may be an eye-candy to some, and an abomination to others. I'm in the middle, I dislike them only because that magic "feel" of classic super robot goodness is lost. If I want a SR with tons of detail on the exterior, I look to the Brave Series of the 90's, or Five Star Stories (ok FSS is not SR but the mortar headd still look good ). You got the idea.

I mean where is his chest V plate?Something closes ther it looks but still nothing looks V like, the ONLY similarities i see are the crusher punch spikes, the crotch plate and the head a bit.The rest looks like random space shuttle parts.

I agree most of you guys. They over done the design this time.... Will see if it looks better after the paint.

Sure is a lot going on with this one, but we'll see when the final proto is shown, it may work or, not but if you're looking for classic designs that this is where you shouldn't be, shouldn't go for burgers at KFC.

I like everything Fewture does/did with regards to the Super Robots, but that ended with Grendizer. Wow. Letdown. It's too "busy" and overdone. I hope this is just prototype A, and it will go through a few more iterations. Please....

Having a look at the pic above...I bet my ass once all painted up this Grendy is gonna rock! My only gripe is I would have loved to have those round disco feet ......but I like the design........but then again I'm a sucker for the EX line

Just want to share with you guys, I add color on the photo... Thanks Snake, this is something that was unnoticeable in the unpainted model: there is a V-shape chest plate (more or less), which can be opened to reveal that... Gipsy Danger... getter beam emittor?? I don't know, but at least you can cover it if you don't like it

Lighter blue looks better for destabilizing as the pic further up, thank you for posting.

Aw man... the chest and lower legs are a total disapointment! Yes, the Grendizer should've followed the other Mazingers sculpts, not Shin Getters! I was sure to get it, but now I'm not so sure anymore. }|

You can tell this was not made by Robo Sato. It lost the essence of what the good doc wanted. This is just a team of designers trying to match his work. To bad he had this unique vision that probably no one else will have when it comes to design. We lost a great designer when he died

This release certainly feels really odd...
