So are these broken necks out of the box? Or do they break due to mishandling?

This is getting scary. Just received HLJ shipment notice for this and I'm hoping that they can take care of me should the neck breakage happen.

New companies or companies new to Gokin should not be fooling around with complex combiners, they have no business making them until they have experience, obviously they have none, especially where plastic meets metal..what garbage. So far out of the 4 Sentinels I have {DinoGetter 1,the 2 potbelly Getters and Gorg}the only one I remotely like is Gorg, its simple and big. This thing looks like a bunch of parts just waiting to break, oragamy gokin.
Sentinel should have been the one to tank because of this toy,NOT CMs.At least Grendizer wasnt brittle.

Baron I agree but, thinking about it Dancouga SHOULD have been a simple combiner for them to start with. I mean all he gets is a pair of shoes and a new head. If they can't pull him off then they need to re-think their foray into the gokin world.

Yeah and people put a lot of faith in toys that have their favorite characters name attached and don't understand when it's not an SOC quality wise.I'd say wait on this guy for more reviews .

Yes, Miracle Production's Vehicle Voltron comes to mind. At the time it was an unknown company in the gokin market, with their first product been a 15 vehicle combiner. And the majority of us were suckered into preordering this guy on day one.

Yeah I was also thinking of CMs GrendiIzer and all the complaining even though most people's were fine they wanted an SOC and can't get past anything not exactly Bandai quality when a lot of money is involved.cant blame them for that but again this hobby isn't all about JUST bandai who frankly let me down way more than CMs has.

Darn neck! FedEx shows that my figure is in Egypt now waiting for the evil postal customs evaluation. So, thanks for the warning but I hope that it is just that I need to be careful with the neck...not that it'll come already broken in the box!

Agree with Baron and Kamenrider that sentinel shouldn't be messing with complex combiner at the moment unless they are absolutely sure on what they are doing and as thing stands, the broken neck incident doesn't really inspire much confidence in us. And I maintain what I mentioned before I don't really mind sentinel sticking to a non-combiner, but highly articulate Dancougar (sort of an over glorified SRC) and retailing it at a lower cost. After all, I like the Sentinel Dancougar's fully combined look, but individual robots sucks, can really do without that.

It is one of the simplest combiners ever made. After looking at Sen-Ti-Nel's blog, it looks like the neck will break if the user is not careful with the head when either moving it, or popping it out/in to replace the face. From Sen-Ti-Nel's blog ameblo.jp/sen-ti-nel-info/, see how the neck might break if not inserted properly.
