Oh wow those getters. Haven't seen new releases that stay true to the old shows style.
Back on topic. How much is this? I seemed to have missed it completely

Ok, just to clarify, it says on the Anime Export site that the $71 does NOT include the Great Mazinger head. So presumably, the 3.97" scale applies only to the Brain Condor itself and not the whole bust. www.anime-export.com/product/19426That said, I mentioned in the pic I posted that the Yen price is 10,000 and the release date is Aug 2014 for the guys who missed it. So I guess the 10,000 is the price for the whole shebang? Bust and all? Geez this would suck if the bust itself would be "limited" like the first SOP Maz head. Gold

I tried to pre-order it, but Paypal gave me a denied payment message. I called them and they said it was the credit card's fault (Capital One). I called Capital One, and they said it was the merchants fault, and even gave me a credit card transaction approval code! So I just emailed AE to find out what is up. Oh, and I was charged, according to Capital One, for times for the order!!! I don't mind paying $71 for the Brain Condor. The HLPro TFO sells for like $40, and it is nowhere as cool! }D

Was still hoping it will be at same size with Bandai chogokin maz head, otherwise would be cheaper getting these, LOL

Curious to see what this up-coming Jet Pilder/Mazinger-Z set will look like. Hopefully it will out-do the classic SOC PX-01/Mazinger-Z head set, which is still awesome! But, damn, that AE ad sez the Great Maz head is not included? It needs more clarification... I'd be happy to get just the ships, at least. But not at that price for that size. Never mind; I'll make my own, someday.... hand-made will satisfy me much better. zozo-mag

If u already own a SOC Maz head/pilder set, u shouldnt be suprised if the more u crave seeing his "brother" having his own combo set awesomely displayed in your glass cab too..
Actually i wasnt that satisfied with Bandai's version, i wish they included a docking sound gimmick coupled with Koji's "pilder-on" voice, while the eyes light up,, Darn, that would be super cool! Now, if ET can make adjustments... lol

My wife tried to purchase Legoland tickets for $365 and got a payment denied from the Legoland website. When we called capital one they told us the same thing, that it was the Legoland's fault and after calling Legoland they said it was capital one's fault. Capital one gave us an authorization code as well but Legoland wouldn't accept it. Just ended up using my debit card which went through fine and cancelled the capital one transaction. Sorry for the OT post

Just tried to use pay Anime-Export again, but using my bank account instead of Capital One Visa. Got the same message as before: "To comply with government regulations, this transaction has been declined." I sent AE an email top find out what the deal is. I never had any problems with AE before, so I hope this is resolved soon. }|

Got a reply from AE regarding my Paypal payment issue: " Dear Nelson, it is not a problem linked to your account or to your credit card. It is kind of funny actually.. PayPal has restrictions and because of the name of the item their system thinks that you are trying to buy animal parts... Anyway I just got off the phone with our PayPal account manager that told us that the problem should be solved, we already received a few payments for this item so if you can, please try again. Let me know how it goes. Thanks and sorry for this! Erika" Somehow, I find this both funny and revolting at the same time! Paid!!! }D

Gold Anime-export has the retail price listed at 10,000 Yen, and their price at 7300 Yen (27% discount), which roughly converts to 71 US Dollars. I think that there is a confusion, which should be cleared up after other retailers stand posting pre--orders for it.

Still, if it's 10,000 Yen SRP for the Condor alone, I hope the diecast content is decent. Makes me wonder how much the bust itself will go for eventually if they do put diecast in there? I think I'll be happy if they just did it with plastic like the SOP Maz bust. Gold
