Remember, Evolution Toys' releases are always over-priced. I still think they are (were) part of CM's, as they both give (gave) their releases crazy price tags... }|

I am still waiting for AmiAmi to post the pre-order for this item. AmiAmi is good at listing what is included/expected. So I will be surprised to see if they also say that Great Mazinger head is not included. Specially after seeing numerous promotional pictures showing the Brain Condor with Great Mazinger head.
As for ET and the late CM's Corp relationship, it was already posted that one of the widow's left CM's to found ET.

I'm guilty of buying srveral of the grossly overpriced ET figures. Still, at least CM's figures had a good amount of diecast in their construction, even the "magnetic" Jeeg. ET's figures however, are nothing more than pre-painted/pre-assembled plastic models with magnets and steel balls for joints. It is shameful that they sell them at the same price, or higher, than CM's versions. But as long as people will be willing to pay their crazy prices, ET will continue to price them high.

Yes, the Zero Tester ships did come out back in February. And apparently they did sell well because ET is re-releasing them in July.

This is the Item Description from AE: The Great Mazinger Head that you can see in the second picture is NOT included, is simply a sneak-preview of the next item in the Metal Action series. By Evolution Toy. www.anime-export.com/product/19426So I guess the Great Mazinger Head is not included. For $71 your buying the Brain Condor.

I wanted a set but every place I saw said pre-order. It was just the first jet that splits to the three ships, right?

So, it is confirmed that it is only the Brain Condor for 10,000 Yen. This time AE wins the price wars. }D

And they replied back stating that they do not have that information. So they cannot confirm nor deny. Also did you notice that AmiAmi has the retail price listed at 10,800 Yen while other Japanese retailers have it at 10,000 Yen? Overall, I am going to pass on this. It is nice to have but not a must have.

It is pricey, but what can I say... it is a modern Brain Condor! I didn't think a diecast Brain Condor + Great Mazinger Set was going to be 10,000 Yen. It sounded too good to be true, unless they were going to be tiny - like DX Mazinger's head size tiny. The Great mazinger head will surely be in the $150 to $200 if it does contain some diecast. This is ET we are talking about! }D

To be honest, I was expecting for the head to be made out of plastic. But you are right, even if a plastic head was included 10,000 Yen sounded too good to be true.

Hmmm... those are great news, but I still think it sounds way too good to be true. However, it could be. Seems like the "Star" of the set is the Brain Condor, and the Great Mazinger head is just the Brain Condor's accessory (its stand). It is the same thing they did with the Koutetsushin Jeeg with Baruba - Baruba was just a fixed pose vinyl figure to place the top half of Koutetshin Jeeg - basically, a stand. }D
