I'll probably go with Toyarena. They did a great job shipping VV for me.

Im getting tempted to pre-order this guy. I havent been buying too much stuff lately except fro the Daltanious reissue and the revised VV. With these reissues coming up Ive stopped buying the stuff I missed so its a waiting game now. If I preorderd that toys budy Hk used to be the cheapest but didnt specify shiping plus I think upfron payment. Gonna have to check them out again.

still not updates on this one? I'm pretty skeptical of the release dates I've been seeing.

Nice! Looks better than the Toynami Voltron IMO!

Looks good but the head still needs work. The face itself is to small with no neck while the lion "helmet" looks to wide and big.

I'm tempted but...will wait for initial reviews...not like 3rd party TF toymakers and Bandai aren't already sucking out any form of savings I have anyhow. Grr.

That looks pretty damn good. Let's see if quality matches looks.

Nice. Lots of good stuff going on here, some bad stuff. Agree that the head is the thing that needs the most work. Particularly the visor/eyes. Looks completely wrong to me, but maybe paint will help it along.

i have to say, it loosk really, i like the proportions of it really well(specially the Black Lion and the combine form as well, it looks fantastic). However, if i have to say what i would like it to see fix or change it would be 2 things:
- Voltron's face: it looks to small making the the black lion's head (hat or helmet if you wish to call it like that) to big, if they increase the proportion of the face a bit more it will look better.
- The lions articulation: wish they had more articulation, like extending the legs to the side to give it much more a feline articulation and stance like the leg articulations of Kotobukiya'so Zoids sort of speak. also there necks wish they could be extended out so the cna look up or down.
but other than that. looks really nice

actually what really bothers me is that supposed to be red protruding part at voltron's chest,, this version's short,,they should have extended it to both sides. it somewhat looks like its still part of black lions legs. it very much lessens this figs anime accuracy.

Man, the detail on this figure just keeps getting more and more intense, so much that it doesn't look like a toy anymore but a scale size representation for a life-size robot prototype! Look at all the detail and mechanics in that thing! I hope the finalized product looks and feels as good as this sample; this could blow all other figures out of the water. zozo-mag

Yes this thing is looking awesome. My gripe with the VV is the connection points and the ratcheting. Being a mechanical guy I dont see why all of these are built flawed. The connection points could be made as solid as the rest of the toys if done right. There are ways to make these detachable points as solid as pieces that are bolted together. the vv legs are a perfect example where they could have done better that whole toy could have been made a lot more solid. I hope this is done correctly. There is no need for the arms or legs to fall off or be wobbling around. Im not looking for a toy that connects and disconects in a flash or the push of a button which I believe is where designers messed up. Oh and magnets .. get rid of them I dont want them on any toy unless they are powered and make the darn thing hover..lol
Put this in a vintage popy looking box with some chrome tails and chrome joints and Ill go nuts. I may have to buy an extra and make a custom box just to do that

I like this rendition because it is NOT even trying to be anime accurate. Like Magengar pointed out, it is trying to be more "real robot" than anime magic, while still respecting the original concept. I can respect that a lot more than what Toynami did. It actually reminds me a lot of how Voltron was drawn in the Voltron comic. Yeah, I'm getting me one of these for sure. }D

Hope the feet have an ankle tilt for posing. I hate it when a figure is basically resting on the sides of the feet.

That looks pretty damn good. Let's see if quality matches looks. exactly. we've seen this before with the MP Vehicle Voltron. While I wasn't completely distraught over mine, for the amount of money these things cost, you would think the QC wouldn't be so terrible. I'm still slightly annoyed by how bad the QC has been on a lot of the high end Gokins released this past year.

I dig it. I'm on board. Love the fact that the legs of the lions don't look like twigs.
