Cool! But if they are going to put that much die-cast in the Red and Green Lions, I sure hope it has some heavy duty shoulder and elbow ratchet joints! }D

Toyercity, Welcome to RJ! And thanks for sharing those pics!
S_Gokin made an interesting point, referring to that lion's neck area. I welcome that gap in its neck, so it will lend itself to posing that lion in normal "lion" behavior characteristics for a dynamic visual appeal.
I'll assume the head will tuck in "shrugged" position when that lion goes into Golion formation mode. We'll see what happens with That aspect when the figure is finalized for distribution release.

Now didn't miracle or someone say that this company was a japanese company?? But the FB page says Hong Kong. Not surprised, just saying. Just noticed something. Its looks like the yellow and blue lions share the same body. Not a deal breaker at all but it would have been nice to have each lion being totally unique. So whi has the best deal nd who wil get this to me the quickest? I like the pricing at toysbuddyhk but they didnt have a shipping cost last time i checked

I can see the body sculpt similarities as well... same sculpt shape. However there's only a slight difference, and that's in the panel lines. I believe the designer may be trying to go for an asymmetric balance and appearance with this figure so that it won't appear out of shape when forming the robot. Let's see if that same happens for the lions which form the arms.

Just make the arms and upper body more plastic than diecast...

Just make the arms and upper body more plastic than diecast... If they do that, and just make the joints diecast, this could be an absolute slam-dunk. It already has more diecast in the leg lions than I expected.

I presume it's typical for the lower regions to have more diecast for support and stability by the weight down there in the legs and feet. And if the arms are made plastic with some diecast, it's hand-held accessories should be made of plastic to alleviate the stress from the joints. Would you let Miss Daisy carry a galvanized iron walking cane? No. Her arms would break, or she'd bop you in the face with it, for handing her such a heavy accessory. lol zozo-mag
