Im still on the fence with this one,put it this way if SOC put one out a day after this was released Id sell it FAST.Ask yourself..."am I buying this because its all there is?"....for me the answer would be yes,but my vinyl Mattel one is still saving the day from Robeasts in my collection. Agreed. And I'm not preordering especially after the MP Vehicle Voltron nightmare. I would rather wait to see bonafide reviews that the QC is solid first. I have faith with my preorders from Bandai, but with other companies especially rookie sensations, not so much. lol And yes, this purchase if I do end up getting one would be retail therapy because of the lack of an SOC Golion.

I like what I see so far, but it is an unknown company. I am going to wait until I read some reviews.

When was it established MT was MP? The Miracle Rep who post/posted on this board stated they were separate companies.

Woooooow! That is so Beautiful! That is really beautiful! Okay, here's my take on it: - The armor: convincingly robotic, with a touch of anime visual flare. - The legs and paws: Love that tasteful use of two-toned color shading separating the limbs from the joints... believably robotic. - The metal and the colors: why does the metal stop short below the colored shoulders and hips? So that when Golion is formed, those areas will blend with the consistency of the colored armor once the lion legs are tucked in. You'll notice that once you start forming Golion while playing with it. The visual dynamics are already obvious in those photos. The colors are the dominant shades of the robot. The metallic (or silver) lion legs are just features for the lions to make them look like mechanical lions when they are deployed as separate units. Over all, this is a nice visual balance between the logic and fantasy of the character. Whether it's "anime accurate" or "mechanically accurate" is just a matter of personal taste. On this specimen we're seeing a compromise of both aspects Working Together instead of against one another. We'll soon see how this bad boy will look like once the final prototype has been assembled and formed as Golion. I'm itchin to give Golie a high mark Collectors' Grade score. zozo-mag

Anyone in Singapore who pre-ordered this from local shops? Only found an online shop, metrotoys, accepting preorders. But not sure if they are reliable.

The yellow in the photos is awful, flat and milky. in my opinion i guess its the lighting because even the color of the blue lion is a bit darker but its a prototype i guess the production units will be more colorful

If I try to imagine that yellow slightly darker, it would defeat the cool vivid color effect of a Japanese robot toy. I can't explain it, but the colors of Japanese robot toys literally scream right in yer face as you've barely stepped inside a toy store or hobby shop. Whenever I walk inside TRU the first thing that catches my eyes are the colors of toys. And if there are any Japanese robot toys on the shelves at TRU, I'm sure they would stand out from the usual American toys. You can see the difference in color shades. Japanese toys scream vivid colors right at you. I like that. That was the effect I felt when I was a kid looking into a hobby store window and seeing them Mattel diecast Shogun Warrior robots and vehicles on display next to a Godaikin Guardian! ...while American toys be like:" Ooooh, we have to soften the tone a bit... Such bright colors could cause epileptic seizures"...... <--- smack! GTFOH! lol I love my country, but damn- when it comes to toy colors, the U.S. toy manufacturers are such wimps! zozo-mag

I like how they colored the weapons so we don't get confused lol, from what i see the green and the red lions got 2 weapons the blue and the yellow lions got 3 weapons and the black lion got 4 how ever i don't think this is the complete weapons because the normal blazing sword isn't there also the huge star that Golion shots, sadly the weapons isn't chrom & that gray isn't right in my opinion maybe the lights i don't know

That's a really nice little detail. I actually like them in silver. Believe me I am a fan of chrome but on some parts that get handled a lot like these, you don't always want it. Looks like the silver matches the paint on the legs which is nice as well.

I like it it looks very detailed and amazing i guess the head will get the shooting gimmick, BUT what im worried about is that serious paint damage of the inside parts in the first photo is that mean after couple try the paint will fade away ? i hope they do some thing about it
