</div>You are right about the Voltron stuff..But about the eyes ..Daimos came out 6 years before Golion and 7 before Dairugger, looking in my files..something I never realized Golion came out before Dairugger! with only 5 Super Robot animes between them!!Goshogun,Godmars,Braiger,Dougram and Xabungle/Irongrear!!in that order! Dairugger anime is leagues better than Golion too with only a year between. Honestly I prefer Golion over Dairugger XV I got bored after the 5th episode of Dairugger XV the story the battles and the transformation all wasn't attaching to me, i know Golion and Dairugger XV are different than each other but since they make of Dairugger XV another voltron and maybe Dairugger XV have better art, Golion was fun to watch the transformation the battles and the story was really decent & better than Dairugger XV in my opinion The villains were better in Golion, but i like Dairugger better,Robot design appeals more to me as well as the diverse team and story, but we all like different stuff!!

I'm missing me some teeth on that black lion. where are those sharp fangs that got banned in the usa Good eye, Crpdiablos! I had just now forwarded your comment about the Black Lion's teeth to Mad Toys' facebook page. However, Mad Toys is speculating to release this GoLion figure sometime in mid-November. So then, I don't think they'll have time to go back and correct the mold for the teeth on the Black Lion. At this late stage, Mad Toys is pushing to get this figure fine-tuned and ready for mass production in time for the release date. Whatever happens next, let's hope the final product turns out to be the best GoLion rendition ever. zozo-mag

If they are retractable then this is very well thought out and pretty sweet. If not then they have time to change it for when version 2 or 2.1 or 3 comes out with improved sticker added

I totally hated Golion and Lion Voltron story lines. To me they were just dumb. On the other hand, I was hooked on Dairugger XV from the get go. Awesome story, enemies, and animation all the way to the end. }D

Oh HELL NO! Not the ol' "version 1.0... 2.0... etc." I don't wanna hear it. Get this one made right, the First time; and then move on to another project. This item isn't something that should be rushed... if it's scheduled for release mid-November, fine; and if it's pushed back to a later date as long as the production for it hasn't started, that would be even better-- ---means more time to fine-tune it to perfection or close to perfection.
If I get this figure and it looks to me like it needs a touch-up, I will gladly spend the time giving it whatever touch-up it deserves. Otherwise, I really Don't wanna have to do that.
To be realistic, no one should ever have to touch-up a collectors' item after paying the money it's worth. It's absurd. That's like paying $200 for the figure and then assuming the craftsmanship "wasn't good enough" and then trying to make it "better".

The difference is that when WEP brought the GoLion anime to the U.S. all the violent and graphic content was edited out and the anime was then re-named as "Voltron". As "Voltron", we ended up with the kid-friendly version. I had the original Japanese unedited version (English hard-subbed), but I didn't get to watch it all; and right now it's stuck in the same crashed hard-drive with all my other anime stuff including the Maz 'Photon Edition' series. zozo-mag

(OFF TOPIC...)I still haven't been able to recover the data, but I will keep trying since it's an external USB hard-drive. The Maz version I had was a High-Def fansub version that I had subtitled in English a couple years ago, and it was shared online through torrent at a Spanish Mazinger fan website. But then later on two production companies had recently acquired licenses for the Maz series, and so we were forced to take down the torrent file share to avoid legal issues with these two companies. If anyone shares this fansub version now there could be legal trouble and the web host could get shut down. We can't risk it; and I don't wanna get sued for sharing it. That Maz DVD at Amazon:Yes, that's Volume 1 episodes 1-46 of the Maz DVD by Eastern Star which has been released just recently; and Volume 2 episodes 47-92 is on pre-order status as it's being produced. They also have the classic Devilman series on DVD in their catalog. Elsewhere, a Spanish production company known as SelectaVision had acquired licenses for the Mazinger-Z series ( and Great Mazinger; among other anime). They will release it on DVD and Bluray, in Japanese/Spanish and with Spanish subtitles. SelectaVision is checking around online to make sure no one is sharing the series through torrent. Even some Maz uploads at YouTube have been blocked or taken down. SelectaVision is being a real b*tch about it. -------------------- Sorry, folks- I didn't mean to stray off topic. Let's get back to discussing this new GoLion figure. zozo-mag

Yeah, SelectaVision has been going after torrent sites to make sure any Maz fansub torrents have been removed. Hopefully someday after all the initial SelectaVision nagging has died down perhaps fans will rip the Eastern Star Maz DVDs and torrent those, it's been reported that the English subs are much better on those.
-----------------
Now, back on topic...... it seems Mad Toys is running a promo for an "early-bird" pre-order special that might include not just One, but TWO swords? (At least that was the latest info I've read on their facebook page along with that yellow lion demo video.) Can anyone else confirm this?
If that's the case, then for me personally, I'll pass on that early-bird special. I really don't need two Blazing swords; as long as the GoLion figure looks good and functions well with its transformations, I'm cool with it as it arrives.
