Miracle Productions delivered the toy they promised. And it is a very good toy for 199USD shipped, just too full of metal that ends up limiting its fantastic articulation a lot.
What soured the experience was “that guy” and his crap store hyping made up sh*t, telling bullsh*t stories and then falling off the face of the Earth without finishing delivering all the orders. Thanks to Baron at least some members that were left in the dark ended up getting the toys they paid years ago. Who know how many are still waiting.
Changing their name would also have to do with WEP. MP is in WEPs radar but a new company means that WEP has to start their legal net again. Some 3P transformer companies have more than one name.

Really wish we had more info. But more than likely the people producing this may want to keep a low profile for fear of WEP. Which makes me wonder how difficult he's going to be to obtain.

I don't wanna sound 'paranoid'... but if we can have this new item, I think it would be a good idea Not to mention this item by name so as not to draw weppie's attention. All it takes is for them to do web searches and these threads, blogs, videos, and any other media will show up in the search results with the name of this item mentioned in the topic. Weppie's probably got a bunch of office interns going online infiltrating forums (in this hobby) to make sure they can catch bootlegers. Twoducks raised a good point about 3rd-party manufacturers changing their names or having multiple business names in order to stay under the radar for as long as possible while they're busy with the new item in production. Just sayin. zozo-mag

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it. WEP was well aware of Dream EX Gorion, and it did not do a thing to stop them. The MP VV on the other hand was because a certain person was bloating about exclusives and first hand info which caught their attention, and the rest is history...

...was...was the Dairugger THAT bad? it seems everyone here HATES this figure like it poisoned the crops, killed their families, and sent forth a plague or something... The figure itself wasn't terrible but the company and the politics involved left an extremely bad taste in everyone's mouth. +1 on this. The toy wasn't that awful (compared to CM's Grendizer, it's better in some aspects). It's just that the hype and drama (the whole Toyfreaks fiasco) of it all just ruined the experience for a lot of folks. That plus the disastrous first runs that had generally bad QC. But in the end at least MP tried to make an effort and release a corrected second (and third?) production run to appease the fans. I'm personally on fence with this one though, I feel like there's something off with the paint apps of this toy. Particularly the Blue Lion's paint apps. I know it's a third party thing and maybe they're opting not to exactly copy Voltron as a technicality in the event they ever get sued but I kinda wish they made it close as possible, look at VV from MP, the colors were almost spot on. You're right that the blue is a bit off, too deep compared to what we are used to on voltron, but taken on it's own, it's not a bad blue. This looks like the most unique Voltron, without being zany, like the SD Goraion. It also looks as poseable as the mattel blazing sword voltron. With the right diecast usage and articulation, I will overlook the blue.

I did notice it was kinda odd, but if this IS made by the same guys who did that figure, I hope they add the grinning face just as continuity or something... still, what gets me on this figure is the sword...Why is it a fire-sword? I thought Golion's Sword would get covered in lightning at some point, not burst into flames... also..why is there only one Golion figure with the correct King's Sword?...that can hold it properly? *glares at the mattel version*

Why is it a fire-sword? I thought Golion's Sword would get covered in lightning at some point, not burst into flames... Because as a 3rd party figure the designers do take creative freedoms. Personal opinion, I like this flaming sword.

I wouldnt be too surprised though if they all came out from the same manufacturing plant... Its typical that one toy factory will handle different projects from different companies/brands... Just because the name is different doesnt mean they didnt originate from the same manufacturing facility...

Just because the name is different doesnt mean they didnt originate from the same manufacturing facility... But if the design is inherently better, and proper QC is carried out, wouldn't it be better even if it originated from the same factory that made VV?
