^ I agree, unfortunately. Not really a big fan of their magnetic joints. It looks good on Jeeq, but on God Mars? Eww..... Unless Sen-tin-el starts picking up on classic SR.

No prob, just know it does not come with teh horse,I hope you knew? Damn! Just saw Gold's review. I think I'll just cancel it. I really don't like black repaints anyway and without the horse I don't think its worth it even if it's the lowest price ($251 shipped) anywhere. Heads up to anybody who wants to purchase a black Jeeg!

Word on the street is that Evolution Toy could be next to go too... whaat are you talking about ? Is thus more speculation ? If its just rumours from the strret meaning jammy and the hlpro guys please don't say it here tom I'm getting severely upset and I really doubt their is any basis in that. they have many models coming out and sell well.

Didn't some posted that CM's and ET spawned from the same owners? If that is the case, then Gettershadow is probably correct. He was spot on with his CM's financial trouble info, and we all know that in the toy business, companies pretty much know what is going on with each other, as they most likely share sub contractors. It would suck if ET went belly up, but like every successful company has done before, they must adapt and overcome if they want to stay alive. }D

Th Evolution Toy rumor is just a rumor. But in the case it turns to be true, as long as they release the Atlanger Mini-Gattai and Daikengo before going belly up, I will be fine.

NO it didn't come from HLPRO.. just guys speculating based on what went down with CM. The companies are kinda similar.

Of course they are kind of similar, Evolution Toy spun off from CM's Corp. But that is where their similarities end.
Besides even with the magnet gimmick that a lot of people hate, their sales are good and their quality is decent. A bit overpriced, but they are doing OK based on their product portfolio.

Im not talking about the figures themselves.. Evolution toys have a great look to them. The problem right now is the entire industry is being CRUSHED buy the global economy. Natural Selection is in full effect. Not all the companies are gonna make it. As far as die cast Japanese robots go, I would place my bet on Bandai, Sentinel, HLPRO followed by Fewture as being survivors.
all for different reasons... keep an eye on Fewture. If Fewture starts doing anything out of character, you know there is trouble in the market.

Rumors...
If a company fails, it is due to its inability to make a profit.
It has nothing to do with the Global Economy, that is such an excuse made up by incompetent fools.

I don't wish anything bad for ET, but I also don't care for their magnetic jointed tiny robots that cost $160-$200, especially after purchasing and experiencing Albegas. If they survive by just producing that genre of products at that price point, more power to them. But if they didn't survive, I wouldn't be surprised to see why.
Still pretty disappointing to see CM's fold, especially since they gave us what Bandai didn't offer.

This is what we should all be saying to you. I like your input and reviews on HL Pro stuff, but when you barge in with statements like word on the street is that such company might go next without any proof or reference material it does rub people in the wrong way. Now if you came up with a better post stating that there are rumors about such company going belly up and show of some proof of your source; i.e. links to source material. Then things will be done differently...

If there is smoke, there must be fire somewhere but hopefully all these are just rumors ... Everyone's in business for profit and business closures are part of everyday life... When the going gets tough, the tough get going and unfortunately, not all business people are good enough to endure ...

I don't want to see them fail either.. I like the T28 and the Mach Baron.. most of their stuff looks real good. But consider this, those are very expensive.. especially with Japanese exchange rates.. there is no die cast in those... what do the Japanese collectors think of those? What is the situation with the bank? These are all factors and I don't know the answers to those questions, Im just looking at their line-up, the price and when they went into business (says 2009)... Im just trying to put myself in their shoes as a salesman and business owner.. I get a funny feeling about it. I could be wrong but I don't think so, I tend to follow my gut instinct. They look to be good figures, but the characters aren't the kind of character that sells in HUGE numbers.. those are "specialty" characters. Where are the "Meat and potatoes" characters? Do they own any other companies that sell other characters?
