there must be some episode where he attaches the ends of those chains to something.. probably a weapon, Im thinking its his trident.. its the only thing with a ring on the hilt

They do attach to the Attack Lancer AKA the trident.

ok thanks.. now in another photo in the manual it looks like that same clasp is attaching to his elbow area.. is that just the angle ? The photo is kinda small

Na.. if I were to get any more it would be the getter g team and maybe a GX45... most of the characters they make Im not all that into. I actually like this battle fever but Im not really in love with that character .. Im kinda already bored with him. I may sell it later on. Well see..

For those who have this figure, how have the rubber bits (especially the rubber neck piece) been holding up over the years? Any cracking/breakage yet?
Bought one when it first came out, but sold it, and am now thinking about picking it up again.

I just bought a sealed one about two months ago. I opened it to make sure everything was there, haven't had a minute to actually play with the figure yet. Will try to look at it this weekend and let you know.

I remember some of the early SOCs' rubber fists becoming very tacky after a few years, so not sure about the quality of the material Bandai's using.

I checked my dad's copy of the toy, the rubber neck's still intact after all these years.
