Sorry, I deleted the thread (trying to move the posts and merge) My mistake, I apologize to all members who already posted... So I repost the TFSource article from MAZ : Could this be a masterpiece, or a Masterpiece, even? It was meant to be. Once upon a time Takara Tomy considered releasing a Huffer (or “Drag”) to go with Masterpiece MP-10 Convoy but the idea never came to fruition. So, with their debut offering, have Cubex nailed Masterpiece levels of aesthetics, quality, design in their Not-Huffer “Huff”, allowing him to be seamlessly integrated into a Takara Tomy or Hasbro collection of Masterpiece Transformers? Is he even the best Not-Huffer on the market? Good luck finding a majority opinion, but if you’re interested in mine, read on! See more at: tfsource.com/blog/masterpiece-or-not/--------------------------------------------------------------------- Last question from a member was about a 2nd run of this figure with fixes (connection peg, paint apps, balance...) Looks like just a re-stock : RK proposed a second order last week for this figure. What I read on TFW2005 board is mainly about bad paint apps : the blue paint is bad quality and sometimes already scratches out of the box. Also : paint coming off hands when first transforming huff loose hinges around the elbow loose head flaking blue paint loose hips leg panels popping off Panel behind head falling off

Knock on wood, no major issues with mine, other than some loosish hips which I quickly fixed and some fading black paint on the trim of the windows. I still really like the figure. I think it looks great, it's a shame that a number of people have had issues to spoil their enjoyment of it.

Received mine too : it is supposed to be a 2nd run (the legend tells. No paint issue/ Inside legs pannels (which cover the tires) are a bit loose : connection tab needs a little pinch of clear coat to turn strong. So nothing to declare except one of the cap pipe which is hard to close in alt mode when you have to hide the hand in it...
Overall : it's a great Figure with strong engineering. Design is what you see and what you get : a nice detailed MP figure which perfectly stick to the official MP line.

So the 2nd run does have improvements... Does this figure have any metal? If so, where?
So far from what I read this figure is a hit/miss when it comes to quality...

Just received mine yesterday and out of the box, the figure has tons of issues. Mine also has paint issues from the left thigh, Loose joints, windshield too cloudy because of too much dried glue fingerprints, part won't stay because of loose tabs and some parts falls and some won't stay align. I ask TFSource if I can return it and exchange it but unfortunately they don't want to replace it. Because they said it's not major. Here is there email. Hello Albert, Thank you for getting back to me and for the pictures. While the issues with your figure are unfortunate, they are not major defect with the figure. It is also known that this figure may suffer from poor paint apps in general, as a result we are unable to replace your figure. We are truly sorry about these issues. Thank You and Best Regards, Rob TFSource - Service So guys I think the lesson here is not to buy expensive third party toys if you have not actually seen the figure yourself. $69.95? Definitely not worth it and not the quality I was expecting. And also the plastic looks really cheap compare to other third party toys. Don't buy Huff not until they fix all the issues.

Man that sucks! I ordered a supposedly second run from chimungmung but it's not here yet. I'd threaten tfs and tell them to replace it or you will not buy from them and tell everyone at boards your a member at to not buy from them due to poor customer service.

Mine is supposed to come from a second run : Paint apps are okay. Hips joint are a bit loose and can easily fall back, but it can stand. I Agree with Orbitron, plastic could be better, but for me it's fine. I noticed some minor defaults like plastic crease (very small) or drill hole which attacked a bit a surface (shest panel joint). The only glue mark I got is small and located on the reverse side (flat) of the truck front light (left)... For sure I first transformed it from truck to bot by following exactly the notice, this toy is not sturdy as Warden or FT quakeWave.

Received mine yesterday, no obvious flaws but there are sprue marks and the paint of the chest is thin and starting to chip off. Personally I think it was a ambitious design with some interesting engineering tricks. Perhaps a little to ambitious for a first release and definitely for a factory which I would bet is mid-tier at best. QC and tolerances could be much better and this is NOT worth what I paid for, as is I say $40 at max but it does look good and fit in with the MP series.

Exactly Chen.... I have learned my lesson not to buy 3rd party toys that are not reviewed well. Specially buying from Tfsource.

Exactly Chen.... I have learned my lesson not to buy 3rd party toys that are not reviewed well. Specially buying from Tfsource. BBTS would have taken care of the situation by all means. I've never had any reasonable defect go without helpful customer service from them. TFSource on the other hand, is hit or miss in taking care of issues after you purchase. Not trying to be a spokesman for BBTS or anything either, but just sharing from my experience. I may not always be the first on the block to have product releases, but I do like the peace of mind knowing if I have any issues, the company I purchase from totally has my back. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for sharing your experience mrclean08 I just need to wait for reviews first before buying unknown 3rd parties from now on. For TFSource. If they're going to it again to me in the future, I will never buy from them again.
