Hello members this is my very first post ^_^ I just got the extra damage parts for the getter 1 repaint & the black getter, first the parts are plastic not metal but it’s a good thing because the metal parts always fall easily here is some pics I completely forgot your first post. I just got my parts set (original version) and, frankly, they're a huge disappointment. I thought the chest parts were diecast. On the pictures, the details looked on these parts looked softer than on the head; they did not seem too sharp for diecast. But nope : all plastic. But the big letdown was that they fall off ever MORE easily than the original parts. They barely hold in place at all. I'll have to thicken them, but I'm not sure nail polish will be enough for that one. $100 for a handful of plastic bits that won't hold in place. $100 plus shipping, plus the bad Canadian exchange rate. And to make matters worst, the customs decided to tax me for the first time in over a year : $30 (CAD). It had to be this one. It couldn't have been the awesome oversized Grimlock. No, it had to be the one that sucks really bad. Just to rub some salt into the wound. In the end, it's my worst purchase in a long time, if not ever. First world problems, I know... I did manage to make it strike THE pose and it does look mighty fine, but much blood and sweat were shed to get there.

wow i cant believe its almost 2 years since i joined RJ hmmm i honestly love it, because they are plastic they dont fall of as the heavy diecast parts also they click very well specially the head its better than the original head that came with the robot lol, the only problem i had was with the tubes things they always come off along with the stomach part unless you are extremely careful i got both the black version and the red repaint version even tho i still dont have the black version but still on my list quick question what happen when Zero fight Getter 1 ? just missing around

I thought the same thing at first.
Think positive...
diecast and painted plastic won't look different on the shelf anyway...
as you said, it's lighter so it won't fall as much...
plastic-on-metal connections can be made tighter than metal-on-metal...
yeah...
good thing...
cool...
Nope.
Pins are too small and won't hold in place.
Well, it's holding good right now, but that's mostly because it's standing with its back tilted slightly backward with the Getter reactor cables pushing the plate in. When I tried making it stand straight or leaning forward, with the cables pulling on it, the plates fall off within seconds, at most.
I wonder if the complete Final Battle set is better. I haven't seen any reviews of it. (The only "review" that comes up on Google is just a bunch of pictures.)

hmmm maybe your unit is defected bro i never had any problems with my set when i put it on the repaint version except the tubes that come from the stomach to the core reactor other than that its holding decently thinking about the first Generation Getter robo are more like statues you work hard on one pose and you keep it on that pose or make it easy on your self and make it just stand there with the display stand to support the wight over time
