no still Grendizer 40th anniversary in October they didnt do an R version for the GX-04S so i think they will do one or they will go with an 40th anniversary version hope they redesign his legs i wait because im already late for getting that toy and i dont want to get it then bandai release a better version for it ( i dont like having the same exact figure in my collection ) its waste of time and money for example if you have the GX-01R you don't need to get the 40th anniversary version You don't like having the same exact figure in your collection. And you made an example with GX-01R and GX-01R40th. But those are different figures I mean, they represent the same robot, but they're different, they're not the same. And one isn't better than the other, it all depends on your tastes and preferences. If you like a robot, why limit yourself to own just 1 figure of said robot? Get 2, 3 or all the ones you need yes it is redundant to have the same exact figure twice (for me. I know of people who get 2 copies of the same toy) but why should you own just 1 figure per robot? There's no perfect figure, each toy has its strengths and weaknesses.

Same figure with different paint and head. Paint aside, the GX-01R, the GX-01R+, and GX-01R 40th share the same body and most of the same accessories. But the head sculpt of the GX-01R+ is very different from the GX-01R. The GX-01R+ and the GX-01R 40th are identical besides the paint, but the GX-01R 40th has a lot more accessories than the GX-01R+. So, in reality, Bandai made it so nobody could have everything "Mazinger Z" with just having one of the three. I actually prefer the GX-01R, even over the GX-01R+ and the new GX-01R 40th. The GX-01R is a lot more OVA accurate. }D

I think GX-50 will get re-issued. I'm only basing it on the pictures of the Bandai stands that were shown two (?) years ago.
