Shut up. I was speaking in terms of accessories anyway. That's the reason I went with the Max Gokin one in the first place.

Shut up. I was speaking in terms of accessories anyway. That's the reason I went with the Max Gokin one in the first place. The anime Mazinkaiser doesn't need many accessories. A Scrander, a Pileder, a couple of hands (fist, open, holding), a long sword, and two short swords. I don't know about the game version, which I have but don't really like much. To me, the Max Factory Mazinkaiser looks more like a female version of the character. It's just too pretty... }D

Well I'm fine with that. I haven't the slightest idea what the two extra swords on the Max Gokin are supposed to be, so all I need are the shoulder slicers and the kaiser blade. Also you forgot the giganto missile.
I definitely like the Kaiser Scrander on the MF version better than the Aoshima one. The actual engine section on the new Aoshima one certainly looks better, now that it's painted, but the wings just look...odd.
I just wish the Aoshima one came with a stand to store all the accessories too.

How am I going to justify buying this! I love aoshima and I love supporting them! And I love their mazinkaiser so much that I already have three of it (I never buy doubles) black wing overseas version, black wing Japanese version but it came with red wings instead of black! And the metallic version) This as it is even with the koji gasha don't justify buying forth one! I was hoping for the anime color version but it is waaay over priced

Yes because Aoshima making new toys is OVER,along with Ankoku Daishogun {his redo was not really done by Aoshima}and Mazinkaiser. That is why BOTH of these have come initially from Italy through Cosmic group.Im guessing its just a deal through Aoshima,I dont think they are actually behind this.

Why is Koji pointing right while looking left? Is this some kind of trick to beat Dr. Hell? As for a Shin Getter 3.... The chances of ever getting to see an Aoshima Shin Getter 3 are slim to none. Shin 2 barely sold and online stores like HLJ still has them on sale with a whooping 60% off and they still don't sell. Why would Aoshima (or any other company for that matter) go into production with a Shin 3? You need to remember that SG3 is MASSIVE next to the other 2 (twice the size of SG1) which means more material and higher shipping costs and unlike the other 2, SG3 features shooting missiles on the shoulders, 2 missile bays that need to accomodate a few dozen missiles AND hide when not in use, working tank threads and extending arms that run 4 to 5 times longer than the normal arms of the figure. I have the resin figure and even if they include the minimum and most essential stuff, SG3 would still be the most complex of all 3 SG. The resin version fills an entire shoe box! Why would they attempt to sell a niche figure for $300 or more when they can sell the more popular SG1 for $120? I've wanted a SG3 for a long time and I even have some preliminary sketches to make one one day and the complexity just blows this figure out of the water when compared to the other 2. If we really want to see some future SG3's. We better buy the upcoming SG3 from Fewture in every color, size and flavor they dish out. And maybe... Just maybe.... some other toy company will eventually notice the high demand and fill that void with a proper SG3

To be honest, I think Aoshima kind of dropped the ball by not releasing both SG2 and 3 at the same time.
Why? Because I imagine a lot of people are happy with just SG1, while others are the completionists (like me) who aren't gonna bother with 2 if they can't get a 3 as well, and with no news of SG3 in sight...well, you know what I mean.

I haven't even gotten SG1.
Which I guess actually puts me in a relatively good standing since I can just wait and see if someone actually completes the whole trio instead of being stuck with an incomplete series.

Your logic is impenetrable, lol As far as sg1 you're missing out, it's an awesome figure, as for what version to get, can't go wrong with the anime accurate version, even though the pearl finish looks really good.

Yup, It really depends on your own preference. Me,, im a chrome guy, so i prefer the black wing version. And most of all, it also goes well with the max factory version that i also have, which also has chrome. Plus GX-07 has chrome parts too, so its also a nice fit.
