vent away! companies need our feed backs.
just saying how awsome they are dont help much. Yes Its appreciative and it says theyre going the right direction, but wont make much in away of progress.
Constructive criticism is what helps both us as a collector and our beloved companies....so voice your concerns and suggestions!

The leg articulation is pretty disappointing in this SRC in my opinion. Even with the extenders there is little forward and back range, and the swivel at the top of the leg is non-existent at least in my Getter. OMG SO TRUE blutengu !! one of my legs took the MOST force i ever used on a toy to swivel it. As ive said from the beginning with my first SRC Great Maz I think it was, these SRCs have TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,leg issues. The round ball joint hip socket balls SUCK SUCK SUCK.Never liked the design, never will, just too sketchy. Some work, some dont, some are loose as hell, some WAAAY to tight, some wont go a certain direction or angle,NEVER are both uniform, god forbid!. Sorry disagree with me those of you who can never say anything bad about Bandai if you like but its the total truth. Its not just MY unlucky one or two SRC,I have many many SRCS and they basically all have some sort of ball joint hip issues..OR will some day, awful design! The only ball joint hip design worse is on Max Factory Mazinkaiser. I hate Revoltech, and id rather have their whack joints in there.Been waiting for someone to say something, been wanting to vent on this forever. I am with you on this! Their hip joints are not the best! They will get loose over time! And for what they are asking they should come up with something smarter!

Bummer. I should've known. They didn't have the figure yet, it didn't arrive when they thought it would. They say next week they'll have it. I hope so. Sorry, you'll have to wait a bit more for my pics, hehe.

Now I don't know if its worth it anymore... I mean, I already knew strengths and weaknesses of this figure before the review came out, but... I don't know, now that I look closer at the belly area, it really looks bad look at this image specifically: Huh? What is this Bandai? Everything looks wrong in this picture, the "leg socket" for the hip is too large and misplaced, and don't even get me started about that belt-thing... the belly section is just horrible, JUST LOOK: yellow part, black belt and white part al have different sizes, while they should all be (almost) the same size! I'm not convinced about this figure anymore. It just doesn't look good enough to me... Oh well, guess I'll skip it, for the time being at least. And concentrate on something else... sigh...

Hehe, thanks Chogokinabdul, lots of stuff came out all at once over the holidays (I've also been doing DC and TF galleries in another forum), it was nuts. I'm going to go lie down now. Thanks Robot Lover. I agree Mechanical Flash, the Getter 1 feels like it was made by 3 different guys (head and chest were done right) and they crammed all they came up with into one package. Not exactly the SRC line's shinning moment IMHO. Gold

Absolutely, I would have prefered this Getter to have less torso posability, but a more appealing look. It just looks way too weird for me, sorry... I think I'll skip it.

This tummy pouting design would be more acceptable if Bandai decided to build a SRC Boss Borot....

i do agree with everyone's comments on this toy thus far, the overall design took a small dive in my mind especially with feet articulation on this one or lack off to be exact. SRC never did have the best leg connectors from my own personal experience with the toy line thus far, so at least the hip joints are nice and tight on this one unlike my other src mazinger, raideen and gaogaiger just to name a few. The primary reason that I pick these figures up or consider them to begin with is primarily for articulation reasons. I mess with the SRC a lot more than I do with my SOC, I guess in my mind if i mess the src up or break something I won't feel as bad in terms of cost. Having said all that... I have to agree w/ Gold if I had to pick one pot belly getter I'd suggest going with Sentinel if you can get one. Neither one is perfect, but I personally think the sentinel looks better in hand. Now if they only made a dairugger, golion and albegas to go on this line I'd be real excited for those three.. though I'm extremely curious about the spacer + grendy that is coming out soon and yes... god sigma looks godly from the initial pics

I already said it a couple of times, and I'll say it again: it could've looked better. Also, not a fan of the slanted leg design (not at the hips, but at the anckles). The rest is ok, but the disjointed and uneven belly is something I initially accepted, but then disliked as more and more pics popped up. It's not a horrible Getter figure. But it's not great, could've definitely been better executed. Tsk.

I think if you look at it as a whole: the heft, the width of it especially in comparison to the maz and great maz, the vibrant color, the articulation and the stiffness of it ... i just really like it.

I truly don't see what you guys dont like. What I don't like? 1. The horrible mid-section 2. The lower leg angled at the bottom 3. The crappy cape design. }D

To me, i only like the sharpness of this src design. On terms of engineering , its kinda like reverse engineered . I own most of the SRC'S, thats why i think that bandai can do better than this

I have the Getter-1 and it's tolerable. I have same aesthetic issues as the others here have already stated. I think the Black Getter looks very terribly awkward and misproportioned at almost all the angles in the magazine promo pics from taghobby. Doesn't even comes close to be Armageddon anime-accurate, either. The only way it looks like in the anime is when you look from above at an angled view, and completely ignoring the non-angled frontal view at eye-level at the same time. Bandai definitely could have done better. Not sure if they actually cared about it as much.
