So far the only RID transformer I see worth buying. This made me realize it would had been cool if all the deceptions had a normal head under as well as a sort of beast mode.

I haven't seen the new figures as of yet here In Puerto Rico, so far its seems all the stores decided to magically stock on all TM4 figures from deluxes to voyagers(manage to get finally voyager hound since he looks pretty sweet and prime been second which ill get later) and leaders (just grimlock and prime) . they also as well stock up only for the Generations voyager figures of Brainstorm, Roadbuster(bunch), Skybite, Whirl and Springer. But for what i heard its a pretty much a unanimous that the Grimlock figure is the better one of the group while second been Strongarm.
However i do agree that this Grimlock figure should have been a Voyager size figure to begin with and not a deluxe. I also agree that this new TPRID are very disappointing of how extremely simple they are in transformation which that is not a good thing. But for now im just gonna skip them because im hunting the combiner wars figures, if im gonna get any of the TPRID figure might as well be grimlock and strongarm.

Saw the first episode today. The show is watchable. Much lighter story than prime. I also think mass shifting is back. The actual robot designs and details are great. Sadly the toys will likely never be made to capture the look like prime or animated did. The human models are awful on the other hand. I'll give it a try and watch it with my kid.

Im afraid not, When Hasbro announce the RID figure line, in some of there interviews they said there where not gonna be any voyagers for this line but deluxes, legends(or cyberverse?) as well the step-changers plus some minicon ejectors(whatever they are called).
So if you want to have an RID Grimlock for scale wise to be big with your deluxe RID team then your best bet is the 3 step-changer RID Grimlock and even with that his way to big.
