Hi guys I know this isnt the section for ET,but the people who collect ET are HERE in this section, not in the Revoltech section, and they do have metal parts, some of them, and ball bearings,I for one feel they belong here.Anyhow Im making the announcement in this section because its for those like me who are trying to complete the classic Sr line, and Laserion is In that line!! This has been known for a while not sure how it was missed but the Italian forum made it known in JULY!! Maybe not enough people care about Laserion but i do!! here is his silhouette..No new news since then but Et puts out what they announce unlike some other companies! If need be move to Revo section but didnt want anyone to miss this who want laserion..The silhouettes show him with and without his power suit on left, the right robot is Nyago King.

Well colour me disappointed already. It'll be mostly plastic, and considering what Godmars was like, I seriously doubt it'll have the collapsible frame :[

Deserving props for ET coz they really do know who's missin in the SR or RR lineup.. thats need to be done. but i still dunno how they will pull this off.. without turning this into another disappointing Godmars or Albegas.. guess will just wait for further developments.

Yeah, if they were making something like God Mazinger where their style wouldn't be terribly out of place, I'd be delighted by the news.

Hmm... not sure what to make of this. It's great that we're getting a new Laserion but Evolution Toys hasn't really impressed me.
Anyone know if their Daikengo is good?

Yes,sorry ET is Evolution Toys, the Daikengo is VERY good, along with Atlanger they have pulled off combiners with individual vehicles very well for what they are,I think Laserion will be fine.I made a separate thread for Daikengo, plan on doing a thorough review soon.

Only the folks that don't have it, think it is. }|

my opinion, we have different preferences ofcourse... comparing with vintage dx version.. it was suppossedly a modern "upgrade" version. but i think the old DX was still better. (not counting the deteriorating blue robot plastic parts which was a well-known problem)

I guess the reason why many people talk trash on ET products is, well, the fact that they are mostly plastic. We're used to handling metal figures, chogokins, so picking up an ET toy doesn't feel right in that sense. Of course, they often provide as much or even more playability than your usual Bandai or CM figure, which may or may not make up for the lack of diecast. It depends, if you like the toy, or not.
The reason I don't usualy like ET toys is quite different though: they're all the same height. Which should be 17 centimeters if I recall correctly. Sure, it's fine for a Mazinger or a Getter Dragon. But, for instance, Daikengo? 17 cm doesn't do it justice, if you ask me.

But if you don't have it, I don't find it fair to give it a bad review just because. That applies to all things. }D

But the truth is that the ET figures are not part of a diecast line, and never intended to be. They are just figures with awesome sculpts, that happen to utilize magnetic joints. I wish they had different scales, but the magnetic joint gimmick probably prevents that from hapening. }D
