Man, the 3P MPs are consistency more masterpiecy than the official ones.
I opened MP Tracks a few days ago, and I really hate how they designed the feet and how the rear of the car stores - it's so untidy, and makes Tracks looks like Mixmaster instead. My car mode doesn't even roll very well! I think the generation Tracks pulled the transformation better.

Agree. 3p companies are spending a lot of time in preproduction. Engineering, design, etc. They are aiming collectors and fans market They don't have mass retail like TT with Target, Toysrus... That means toy has to be "perfect" to have a public choice and preordered by the shops. Badcube Sunsurge is allready sold out, second run is coming. This is a good reward.

Unofficial transformation to bulk up the legs, reduce "duck feet" effect and generally give the figure a better silhouette. The picture on the right is the official way to transform the toy. Images from tfw2005 forum.

I watched quite a bit of the Queakblast review - man that video is long. Anyway my take away was that some joint are tights, the paint is good - I like the color, transformation isn't much different than Quakwave's, and that I'm glad I've pre-ordered mine for about 85.00
I haven't decided anything when it comes to Sunsurge and Spinout. I like both, sort of. Transformation and overall look are ok. I have to ask, it worth the asking price to Me when I can spend that money on other figures?
Edit: Received the MPP10 Prime. So glad I got it. constrcution and pain are solid. I still like the mp10. MPP10 just wins for its shelf presence.

Nuff said. This is Megatron!!! Yup goodbye Apollyon, even the first time I took mine out of the box I knew it wasn't what I wanted. Waist up it looks ok but the waist down is a disaster plus the QC on mine is horrendous. Made a huge mistake buying it and will sell it as soon as I can afford this one when it comes out.

Several more reviews have been posted C9 Quakeblast. I hope a change or two takes place before its finally release. Either way I've already ordered one.
Really like FT Grinder and will be getting one when its released. I new I'd be getting the FT version instead of the MP08x OS version. Mostly for consistency within my Dino collection.
I will be getting FT Spotter and FT Mercenary as well.

There has been no mention about diecast parts on Quakeblast from any of the review, has it?
EDIT: Bobby Skullface mentioned that the feet are diecast, DOH

just POed this. the only Megatron that caught my eye for quite sometime now.. and probably the last one ill get. With this.. ull get two official alternate modes for him in one toy. More likely TakaraTomy will never make a triple changing G1 Megatron figure... unless they make a new anime or comic of sorts.. I hope he will turn out great in actual toy form.

Here is a pic I took that illustrates the leg problem. and notice how much improvement he had since his prototype was shown... i dunno.. i guess sum1 from Boldforms is taking notes of what the crap were saying here hehehe... or he was really bound for improvements and its always a constant reminder that dont really trust prototypes as a finality..
