Baron how heavy is boss palder? I've been thinking about getting one. Not really a fan of any CMs stuff but kind of like this one.

Baron, I think Bax Trombetta could (the famous Italian modeler, author of these customs) could take some comission, but he probably is under mass requests. Check the line up : My question is if we can turn custom efforts in semi mass products ? When I see so much hard work in this, I think it could turn in something real for collectors. But this need to be discuss with collectors on different international boards. Reunite ! hahaha. My thoughts is custom or 3rd party is now the real treasure for collectors... Official products are still valuable and good to sherish, but small creations with greats efforts to give a grand respect to the design and the spirit worth to be shared, lived and put on "stage". I mean, in this case, those Astro robots model maybe need to have a next level... This could be a great discussion with max, collectors, fans... It's an example of what we can bring alive instead of waiting official models we are dreaming about and sometimes never come... Edit : these custom are made by Max Trombetta and Paolo Shumygo from mad's model forum.

Ok these definately need to be produced,I realize 90% of USA collectors have little taste for anything classic and exotic, our Italian and european fellow collectors have much more taste for REAL classic robots and arent just stuck on Gundam,Voltron and explosions! and as far as classics it usually doesnt go past Getter and Grendizer here, not sure why.Japan seems to be the same way and they originate there!,they only like the NEW or JUST Mazinger it seems, you can see it inwhat Bandai releases,CMs is adored in Italy, even as much as SOC because they made these type of characters. I see such an admiration for Daikengo,Astro Robots,Godam,Acrobunch ,Tryder etc etc on the Italian forums,I tend to gravitate toward the same aesthetic, maybe because Im an Italian American? Not sure.Maybe its cuz people dont look past what every one else likes? It isnt just because we didnt grow up with those rarer shows either, cuz I didnt ,and I LOVE those exotic SRs.Its a shame to call them exotic, they really are not, just not well known here.. So please can we get together somehow and have these and other rare SRs made? Im willing to shell out whatever for a set of complete ones,Im sure there are others here too.AND it would be lovely if Godam,Diapolon etc were also realized. Its sad they are not, only ET seems to be making anything unusual, yes it seems there is hope for the SRC line, but not for these characters.

This is nature to create survey/poll to see how many people want a specific robot/serie to be made. But it could be a "mass" question with other collectors forum. Can be helped by a kickstarter or something similar if the quantity is enough. Quantity define the materials like resin cast or plastic injection... And the starter point is important like preordering a single or a trio. Everything remain to the modeler/designer. We, the collectors need just to be honnest and serious when ordering or proposing a demand. Then it can create a good adventure, birth of companies, team, projects...

Sadly, like it was seen in the Toyshunter R-J exclusive CMS Grendizer pre-order, words and promises are like tears in the rain. MONEY exchanging hands is the only "honest and serious" way to ensure nobody gets totally shafted in this hobby, and everything else under the Sun. }|

The purpose was to present you these great customs project then also the modeler behind them. I contacted Bax about this thread and he nicely came to register and share his passion with us. There is no purpose behind. But as a designer myself, sometimes single projects can push to bigger. Buying collecting toys sitting on a chair and clicking paypal is ok, but giving his energy to participate to an original and creative concept is way better and healthy. Collecting is a hobby, a passion people are sharing. See how many conventions are alive. Feeding the discussions with constructive thoughts is way better to fill the soul and the real. Exchanging ideas is a treasure beyond "exchanging money hand to hand".
