*picks up jaw*
Why does Bandai always have me at "Herro"...? Seriously, they are like some hawt female who has a non-stop access to my credit card and I'm powerless to stop her.

That destroid is awesome. I still regret not getting the 1/60 ones that were on clearance years ago.

The Battletech fans will be ecstatic. Destroid Defender/Battletech Rifleman, Which surely also means we almost certainly have a Destroid Tomahawk/Battletech Warhammer and possibly a Destroid Phalanx/ Battletech Longbow somewhere in the not to distant future. All three of those Destroids use the same lower body and legs. Add to that the Destroid Spartan/Battletech Archer that is out in May and the Dougram/Shadowhawk and you have a really really nice Lance. Does anybody know where to get some 6" scale Hex grid sheets and some really really big dice?

So it's only 5.5"? I expected these to be larger. Are these scaled more like src figures?

So it's only 5.5"? I expected these to be larger. Are these scaled more like src figures? Close. At 1/100 scale the Valk's sit at about the same size as the SRC's in Batroid mode. So about 5". The Destroid's will be just a hair bigger than them so 5.5" makes sense. Most of the Earth mecha was close in size to fit the service bays and doors. And it put them all at the same height as the Zentradi. Which reminds me Dear Bandai can we get some SHFA Zentradi Soldiers?

Thanks for the info. So maybe I am just assuming things because of the name but these do have diecast, right?

The Valkyries have very little diecast. The feet and the shoulder joints only I think. The monster have a lot of diecast but mostly internal. The destroids we will find out!

Thanks for the info. So maybe I am just assuming things because of the name but these do have diecast, right? They have some diecast, but nowhere near as much as the Chogokin lines. The Valkyries have very little metal. Just the shoulder joints, the feet and the central swing arm. Some other offerings have much more. The Glaug has almost all diecast internal joints, but all of the outside is plastic. The Destroid Monster has a ton of metal. The new HMR Dougram has a metal internal frame, so maybe as much metal as a Soul Spec offering. I suspect the next series of Destroids will follow a pattern similar to SRC's. The feet and or lower legs will be metal, as will the hip jointing. Everything above the waist will be plastic. That would make the most sense as the lower body can be reused for 3 different robots and the upper plastic tooling easily changed as needed. Given the overall design of the Defender and Tomahawk with the long straight arm cannons they will want a weighty stable base. If you know SRC's I figure the Destroids will be most similar to the SRC Altiessan.

Metal on the sole of his feet seems like good hint at decent metal count. Defender also has a working cockpit and many clear parts. Its def step ablove Spartan.
I cant wait to get my hands on these and hopefully rest of the Destroids.

Nippon-Yasan has it for ~5300JPY. So, a tad less than CD-Japan. They also have the the Chogokin R2-D2 if anyone is getting it. I preordered that moving garbage can because well, looks cool. Don't tell the wife. <nervous>
