W00t...it was NOT a street-fight to get this. Got it on AmiAmi. But, to get the renewal Baikanfu and the Formania EX took other souorces. Had to go to Anime-Export for the former and CD Japan for the latter.
At least I got all the gokin toys in one general shot this time.

People make fun of this line for Bandai naming it Hi-Metal... I dont even try to understand the guy who thought of this oxyMORON name, but his name would be the later part of that word.
In short, his feet and somes part of major joints are diecast. Some of us here and im sure others laughingly yet more aptly call the line, "Lo-Metal." Hahaha.
Having said that, the line itself is of VERY high quality. I hate to intruduce the line with the best (as far as metal count and the size is concerned...imho of course) but, do get HMR The Monster at AmiAmi. Its on crazy sale. To me, this is the right direction for the line. Its super heavy with out of character for this line, "a High amount of Metal!!" Seriously, do not miss the Monster, i do not understand why this thing is even on sale....

Does it have die cast content on it? Thanks for the heads up on the sale! SOC Megazord ate my budget -_- but I'm seriously considering expanding my collection now. (TFs first then chogokins (SOC and Sentinel) now Macross)

Arcadia hands down better quality not to mention perfect transformation. It's not a fair comparison either given the difference in price point. The Yamato v2/Arcadia VF-1 is bar none the best VF-1 ever made in any scale. It still is the most complete VF-1 line up, just that The Yamato valks are stupid expensive now.
Hi metal is great mainly because the small scale allows the bigger mecha to be made like the glaug and regult and the monster. Those are not feasible projects in 1/60.

Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback!
I know it has been answered - does the Roy Focker version have a stand (2016 release) - how much die cast content does it have?

There has been so many roy focker releases I lost track. Not sure about the stand. See if anymoon.com has that info.
Diecast content on the Arcadia Vf-1 is very limited. Metals is not really your friend in valks due to paint scratching from complex transformation. There is an internal chest plate that is metal, and the metal swing bar and that's about it. The Arcadia YF-19 or the Yamato Vf-19 has a little more diecast in it, but not too much. Diecast is mainly used in valks in areas under high stress or for weight distribution.
Arcadia Vf-1 valks have a high quality matte finish and gives a high detail model feel while rugged like a toy.

Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback! I know it has been answered - does the Roy Focker version have a stand (2016 release) - how much die cast content does it have? The Roy version is a tamashii exclusive so the stand is in a separate box. depending on the seller, it might or might not have a stand. just look the the description or confirm with the seller to be sure. The stand is just a clear black "tamashii stage act 5" stand with the skull symbol My roy did not have the stand so i can save $18 The main diecast area is the shoulders joints, hip joints/swing bar, feets. Like others have suggested, it's best to check out www.anymoon.com and get a nice informative crash course on these toys first. Here's the quick link for the 1/100 hi-metal R anymoon.com/blog/?p=8199And a quick on for the 1/60 yamato/arcadia anymoon.com/blog/?p=4599 Check out the videos too, www.youtube.com/channel/UCwLPOZ_xJKKVkcaE4DMM9cwThe Hi-metal Roy is pretty high on the secondary market. So much that it's very similar to the Arcadia 1/60 Roy super/strike.
