^ LOL, it probably is. I wish the articulation allows for a two handed sword stance, then I don't have to leave the other hand idle

How hard is it to get working leds on a toy?!! Its wires, led and battery, how does one mess that up? I will pick up batteries soon and test them. Has anyone gotten the LEDs to work? Got the batteries, inserted two in each cannon... nothing.

I haven't tried mine either... I was just so happy that the main figure was practically QC-free.
What kind of batteries do the cannon use?
BTW, is there are any specific way to de-combine the lions? Are there any specific release buttons for the arms and the legs?

Are there any specific release buttons for the arms and the legs? 1- it take a Lithium cells (watches battery) but the size is what i dont know 2- for the hands (red and green lions) no you just pull them gently without putting any force on the connection part for the legs (blue & yellow) there is a release button on the back section

Sorry for the late response... they didn't even list the right batteries in the instructions... watched wataku (Sp?) review and it showed the right ones: LR43. Right batteries, but unfortunately one of my cannons seems to just plain not work, which sucks. The supplier said he'd ship me another one, but eff me if I see that happening.

I love thus toy! But I have issues on 4 lions except for the black one. On the red lion, one of the feet on the back is facing backward. On the green lion, one of the feet on the back is stuck and will not rotate and missing the cap on the joint. On both yellow and blue lions, the tails are too loose that they droop when posed straight out and also the joints on the front legs are loose that the heads fall forward if the front legs are not posed at about 90 degrees from the ground. I will have to contact the maker to see what they can do about this. But despite the above, I love playing with it and the figure is solid as a combined robot.

I got my King of beast yesterday. It got the same manufacturing defects as others did, namely: 1. Inverted paw/ claw in one of red lion's feet 2. Drooping loose tail connection, also on red lion 3. Minor paint smudges on red and yellow lions (I think I can live with this defect).
Haven't tried forming the combined robot form yet. Any kind Samaritan here who could point me to the right direction on how to contact madtoys? Kindly PM me madtoys' email address perhaps? Thanks.

Did you buy it from T%yercity in Hong Kong from Kalv%n? Does your order on PayPal say "patch 2"? Please, let me know. Thanks!

I just ordered mine from T*yercity! Dammit, as magengar said: with or without QC issues, this figure is irresistible to pass on! I hope mine will be truly the 2015 patch. Paid 260 U$D.
valkyrie13, MT will probably ignore your message...but, try ...nothing is wrong to try! Also, contact the $eller you got it from...since PayPal protects your rights with whomever you bought it from.
S_Gokin, interesting! I need to re-YouTube some reviews about this guy, soon.
