That's ok. Went ahead and ordered on eBay. I figured toy-wave could have at least notified me that it was only a preorder instead of emailing me to tell me it was out of stock. Got one for 274 US which is just a tad lower than what I would pay for using a US seller and they don't have it in stock yet.

Thanks for the likes guys! Never got the CMS version since I wasn't too keen on it at first. When I did warm up to it most places were sold out. Now to hunt for the different accessories. Hopefully all of CMS are compatible.

Mailman just dropped this off. I guess I was wrong about Arcadia using vacuformed plastic trays only. Must be for the former Yamato offerings only.

How is the qualit of this release? I'll have to get back to you on that one. I only opened it to check its contents but hadn't had a chance to combine it yet. I don't own the CM's version so wouldn't able to compare either.

Have you guys seen this YouTube video? Is the strength of the CM's magnets the same? Stronger or weaker??

Wow. Didn't realize how heavy and how strong the magnets are on this guy! Now I know what the all the fuss was about!

So... just wait a second. Are the magnets strong or weak?
From what Ozmalee said, seems like they do the job perfectly. But in the video they're as impressive as a granny trying to lift a fridge... So?
Also, this is basically CM's Jeeg, right? How are the magnets on the CM's one? I heard they were good.

Have you guys seen this YouTube video? Is the strength of the CM's magnets the same? Stronger or weaker?? After watching video reviews of CMS Jeeg, I'd say the magnets are exactly the same strength. I'd like to give credit though to CMS as they were able to pull this toy off as it being held together by magnets. Their earlier try at this (Baratak) was a disaster.

I should have clarified. Mine are like in most CM's Jeeg reviews meaning they're strong. Not like in the YouTube video posted above. I was amazed at how strong they are. Also, from what I can tell, only the cardboard packaging is different from CM's. Even the styro layout is the same as CM's.

I know this is gonna probably gonna sound like a stupid question, but why do they insist on using magnet joints for Jeeg figures? Yes yes yes I know it's the primary gimmick for the robot in the anime, but if i'm gonna buy a high-end figure I shouldn't have to worry about taking it out of the box and the whole thing literally falling apart. I know right? This is probably because toy making companies don't want to leave their comfort zone: making a Jeeg without the magnets gimmick would be too much of a risk, right? "We don't even know if people are going to buy this stuff" who knows, maybe Jeeg collectors would not buy a Jeeg toy without the magnet gimmick... Well, at least bigger Jeeg figures have regular, non-magnetic joints, like the FLoSR one, from Marmit.

See TaurusOxford? Colletors wouldn't buy it if it didn't sport the magnet gimmick Sure it's cool, and I'd like it too, but wouldn't consider it an absolute requirement on a Jeeg figure... I could live without it.

Just out of curiosity I did that test on Jeeg that the guy did on you YouTube. I had to shake really really hard and I mean REALLY hard to get the legs to come off. I'm guessing the guy got bad magnets.
