I believe that at Wonderfest 2014 there was something written in Japanese stating that they were going to do a Reideen???
I would be VERY VERY EXCITED about this IF it is true!!
Can anyone confirm or have they heard about this?

Wow are the aoshima toys really that great??
I am so EXCITING about REIDEEN! I absolutely LOVE the Fewture Getter Gs that have been coming out. They are really high quality and "real" GOKIN not all plastic.
Baron...your Avatar is b*tch'n! Who is that robot?

Anyone have any updates on REIDEEN and/or GRENDIZER? Given all the nice/cool things coming from Bandai and 3rd-party toymakers for Transformers...I'm one to secretly hope Fewture takes their merry time. :-D

I'm not sure on this one... the proportions seems a little off... at least on the prototype version that is being shown here.

Uff, I don't like the design too much... lower legs are too segmented. And it looks too elaborated overall. Not as bad as Grendizer, but almost.

IMHO, the ex-gokin Grendizer didn't appeal to me either. When these figures were still designed by Taku Sato (or at least involves his design notes in some ways), no matter how they deviate from the original, it was really easy to identify what the original character was. This happens up to the Getter G figures. But but no matter how I look at it, and if it wasn't for the color scheme, I couldn't see "Grendizer". Same with this one. Without looking at his colored promo pics, I couldn't recognize Raydeen in the grey prototype.
EDIT: And if it doesn't transform into Godbird, it's not Raydeen!

Exactly. Guys, just look at the... look at the grey prototype, don't look at the colored image. Could you tell what that thing is supposed to represent, without the colors? Exactly, it deviates too much. This doesn't convince me... why should the EX Gokin team try to replicate Sato's designs and ideas, if they clrearly fail so much at it? Even though, this isn't a problem that happens only in this line... have you seen this thing (supposedly Batman)? Quickly point out what's wrong with its design, please. It's essentially the same issue Reideen has.

Holy wedding cake, Batman! It's mecha batman!
Bandai's movie realization Samurai Darth Vader pulls that character re-imagination trick better than Enix, I guess.
