Did anyone manage to put on the belt without scuffing?

Did anyone manage to put on the belt without scuffing? Yup! Piece of cake. You just need to pull Mazinger's upper torso upwards, put the belt, then push his torso inwards ...done.

I have to say I love this kurogane ver. of SRC Mazinger Z! My only bit of disappointment is that his limps aren't as blueish as I thought or as they appear in the promotional photos.

Nice family portrait, Gren! He he. If you get a chance, maybe you can also post one with just the two Mazingers.

i just had an idea, if Bandai want to release another color version for the DX Mazinger they should just sell the armor parts

Here's my Kurogane scaled with some other figs I have out... TF-Legends Arcee is quite nicely in-scale with him. Bandai really should do an SRC versions of Aphrodai and the other Mazinger Angels so we can have actual in-scale/in-universe fembots...

Bandai will sell gang of em. and theyll have a real excuse for using minimal diecast since theyre so dainty.

Kurogane's torso is surprisingly a bit extensible to make it a bit taller than the original...

What I don't like about this figure (apart from the partial lack of accesories) is the fact that all the colors have different finishes to them.. Black parts got a rough matte finish, while blue parts are metallic and grey parts are plain. I don't really like the end result So I'm waiting for the Iron Cutter version, colors there look more cohesive, I'm hoping it looks good in hand. Thanks again for the review Gold

Thanks Mechanical Flesh I see your point, yeah, it would be interesting to see what an entirely matte finish SRC Maz would look like. Not sure how the metallic blue will come out on matte finish though. Gold
